Military prosecutors have given a plea deal to a Marine whose order led to the murder of 24 unarmed Iraqis in Haditha in 2005. Staff Sgt. Frank Wuterich, 31, acknowledged in his plea deal that he ordered his squad to "shoot first, ask questions later," or used words to that effect. The squad killed the unarmed Iraqis after a roadside bomb exploded near their convoy, killing one Marine and wounding two others. Wuterich, whose original manslaughter charges could've resulted in a life sentence, now faces no more than three months.
