Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

Because cameras are excluded from the courtroom in a federal corruption trial, a TV station in Cleveland is covering the proceedings by having puppets read lines from the official court transcripts -- which it dubbed Puppet's Court. Former Cuyahoga County commissioner Jimmy DiMora (D) is on trial for allegedly steering contracts and offering jobs in return for bribes. "It's a satirical look at the trial ... placed at the end of the newscast," said WOIO 19 Action News director Dan Salamone.

Awesome.

Well, given most trials are held by people with a hand firmly up their asses, this isn't that far of a stretch

And given that the MSM are all puppets anyway....REALLY not a stretch..

If it was on FOX, the reporter would be portrayed by Mr. Hankey.

or on MSNBC, by a crusty "love sock"

BRILLIANT - do this for the Supreme Court PLEASE!

Scalia should be performed by a sack of trash, btw.

Don't you mean someone else's ass?

Cleveland? I would have never guessed that it was such a corrupt shithole until I watched "Kill The Irishman" last night, the story of Danny Greene in the '70s going up against the Mafia in Cleveland.

While his killing brought about the downfall of the 5 Families, it seems the corruption just moved into the government where it exists today.

Beautiful, a Puppet Court!

Using puppets of real people and transcripts to get around antiquated anti-media-in-the-courthouse laws?

Of course, what they really need to make it perfect is a pair of Statler and Waldorf puppets up in the cheap seats cracking jokes.

Be Well.
