Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs
Tuesday, January 17, 2012

Five days before the South Carolina primary, the five remaining Republican hopefuls tried at Monday's presidential debate to woo voters, and four sought to shake Mitt Romney from his perch atop the field. Romney was challenged by several rivals over his record at Bain Capital. "Some of the businesses we invested in weren't successful and lost jobs," he said. "We invested in well over 100 different businesses."

So a debate tonight and another this Friday. There is at least one before Florida's primary.

Don't expect any intelligent questions about important issues.

They should all dropout and let Paul go one to one with Wall Street Willard. Of course, Willard would probably be afraid of that and catch a cold.

I'm beginning ot understand how Prometheus felt, chained to that craggy rock by Zeus with a great, flapping eagle tearing out his liver and devouring it -- only to have the liver grow back so the whole dreary business could begin anew the next day.

Willard was by report caught lying today about the nature of his family's connections with MLK. Needless to say, the lies in question cast Willard in an heroic light.

I think Willard is like the Medusa. Try as teh Right might not to look in the monster's face, Willard knows it's "inevitable".

Must royally suck to be a Republican this year.

FF for Doc--I remember that story--kinda' ;o)

If Colbert were polling at 7%--CNN might have to invite him to their debate on Friday!!

Poor soul, thinks Indian Poker is the same as Texas Hold 'Em.

Colbert/Kucinich '012!

Reagan was a big fan of jelly beans.

They were intellectually compatible.

In the end, it will not matter.

The Democrats are going to run Obama/Clinton ticket.

No, it won't be Hillary.

It'll be Bill.

Campaign slogan, "A vote for me is a vote to put William Jefferson Clinton in the White House as I will resign the day after inauguration." Four years of Bill.

I'd vote for Bill under these conditions or RP.

Ron Paul should run third party if the Republicans don't take him.

Then, as the complains abound about the vote being split to end the chances of preventing another Dem term, RP comes out and tells the Republicans, "Then drop out if you don't want the votes split."

I can tell that tonight's debate on the DR will be interesting. The libs are tuned up. Of course the Scotch and the Doobies haven't kicked in yet, or in the case of AXE the Mad Dog 2020.

#20 | Posted by Petrous

NH exit polls only had Ron Paul voters who would vote republican at around 40%. It's a dope, drugs and anarchy vote, sounds like Dem's to me.

Of course the Scotch and the Doobies haven't kicked in yet, but those roofies...well, there's nothing like Rohypnol to loosen up for the evening. Yum.

That's not even true.

Ron Paul is tied versus against Obama and Romney up one point against Obama in the national polls.

Ties all around...

Ron Paul will not run third party. He doesn't want Obama in for another term.

Oh--here is the CNN poll

"Oh--here is the CNN poll"

I thought that the only poll that counts is election day.

Yes Hans--this is a snapshot for today and it's all tied. There, there..

"...this is a snapshot for today and it's all tied..."

So?

The "snapshot for today" is meaningless.

"Today" isn't the general election.

The only poll that counts is election day.

It's not obvious to me that he'll hurt the Republican candidate more than he'll hurt Obama. His views on social issues, civil rights, and military engagement are further left than Obama's are.

"Hans needs a powdered wig..."

Because my "natural" hair color is Caucasian?

It'll eventually boil down to the economy and in that area, Romney looks the best----depending on what happens with the economy between now and election day.

Wall Street Willard was "asked" to come back to Massachusetts and run for governor. LOL. What a phony.

Watching Mitt, one can discern the devilishly cunning GOP plan to bore America to death.

President Romney looks ready to go tonight.

Go Perry! Release your income taxes Willard!

Perry should stop with the Bain--oh --now let's release his income tax..

I think he should release them btw--when he wants to --between now and like May.

If only they could inject some Perry blood into President Romney.

A third-party Ron Paul: Mitt Romney's general election nightmare?
...
Politico hacks: Ron Paul third-party run would kill GOP chances even though most Paul-bots are college-age students who vote Democrat

Great answer on core values by Romney

Now Perry gets to say Obama is at war with SC

He's running to prevent America from becoming something we don't recognize....like it was in the sixties. Like when we had a prosperous middle class.

How long does the gov't get to tell SC about voting laws?

All that stuff is over.

Was a joke--was meant to be light, silly.

But yeah, Santorum is a horrible choice for president. And a great way for the Republican party to give Obama the WH for another four years.

The so-called "Black Liberation Theology" did not keep President Obama from being elected in 2008.

Magic Underwear just might keep the GOP faithful from voting for Rmoney.

Ron Paul is not Ross Perot, but you keep thinking that all the way to 2012

SC rabble loves to roused by Perry's over the top rhetoric.

Thanks, Hans. I'm guessing you noticed that the third article is a critique of your position:

A Ron Paul run would damage Barack Obama's chances at least as much as the GOP candidate's. And, given the fact that Paul's national security policies are to the left of Dennis Kucinich, he'd definitely capture a large chunk of the moonbat vote. directorblue.blogspot.com

#79 | Posted by pragmatist

Not true, have you met the man. He was in your back yard for a week?

I'm pretty sure Michelle Obama has ruined at least one life today, and belitted several staffers.

All while planning her next multi million $, taxpayer funded, vacay.

"Ron Paul is not Ross Perot..."

So?

Hans--Ron Paul is skipping FL. Why?

He's heading to the states on the next round where they have caucuses.

He's not going to bail out on the GOP. He doesn't like Obama more than anything the GOP will put up against him.

There will be negotiations and Paul will be in the GOP tent when it's all said and done.

Including most of his supporters--who will vote for Romney--who is likely the nominee for the GOP.

Watching Mitt, one can discern the devilishly cunning GOP plan to bore America to death.

That would have to have been in the abstract, right Muffy, because we all know Rmoney has no core values.

PA, it is my opinion that he would be a horrible president. Just as it is yours that the current POTUS is a horrible president. Meeting either is irrelevant--are you gonna tell me you've met President Obama and every other president about whom you have an opinion?

Yeah, Mutt! Less regulations on Wall Street!

What could possibly go wrong?

Everytime I listen to Ron Paul, I think what would this guy be like in a meeting. I suspect he doesn't have good listening skills.

#92 | Posted by Hans

Lol. You're the one who linked a summary that challenges your position.

The survey results are interesting, but fail to take into account who would actually show up at the polls. That's a big, important question. A big part of the demographic that got excited about Obama the rock star (young, first-time voters) is the same demographic that supports Paul.

#97 | Posted by pragmatist
are you gonna tell me you've met President Obama

I didn't shake his hand but I ate his chicken and listened to him answer questions.

No Hans, actually I understand exactly what John Smith preached and beleived,m....from the social aspect of the religion, to the spiritual beliefs espoused, and to the cosmological tinge to what he taught.

As with every subject, I understand it completely before spouting off on it.

Willard pussies out on his tax records!

Why the switch to Romney's fist name suddenly overnight. I mean, I know that one leftie sheeple did it and the rest of the flock followed, but usually you leftie idiots don't do a name change unless it's some sort of insult --- implied or otherwise. What is the hidden insult with "Willard"?

BTW, it was amazing how quickly you guys follow suit. Was the command to start using Willard instead of Mitt "tweeted" to you from your masters at the DNC or what?

Willard should be banned like Hussein was.

101--Of course not. Read too fast, PA? My point was YOU suggested that I must have met Santorum to have formed an opinion. My response was that each of us has our opinions WITHOUT having met any of these politicians. How you got from that to thinking I asserted that I met Obama is beyond me.

Whatever. I'm not even watching this debate, just having a little fun jumping in. Have a great night. I'm off to get ready for tomorrow's work day!

Like how Gingrich emphasized "Juan".

My issue is that most everyone who does the Heisman on Santorum has never really looked at his positions. He has be slandered beyond reason as any politician who promotes family values. This is a hot button issue for libs and brings out a Palin type scorched earth response. His views on abortion are almost identical to Obama's.

Newt schools Ron Paul. God I want a Barry Newt debate.

Ron Paul pisses off the retarded audience. Hahahaha.

Okay, I checked back in before turning off the computer. Silly moi.

His views on abortion? WHAT?! I thought you conservatives thought Obama was a baby killer! Intriguing.

Anyway, I don't want to get into a long-drawn-out explanation of why I think Santorum would be awful, and I'm not slandering him. I don't play those games, as you know. If he gets nominated (hahahahahahahahaha), we can talk about why I think he's awful. Enjoy the debate, on the TV and here. I'm out.

Now that is probably the best reason I have heard--evar...

Sad but true.

Watching Romney and Paul's answers on NDAA tonight was Spud's big takeaway from the event.

Paul was good.

Even Gingrich made a couple salient points tonight.

But all too soon this part of the circus will be done.

Romney will have SC and FLA in his pocket, alongside IA and NH, and it'll all be over but the shouting.

At this point smart money sez Rubio for a VP candidate for Romney.

Sorry if your Republican debate crowd was racist. That's your party's problem.

Both major parties are racist, dull. A large number of one of them openly exhibits their racism. The other party lies as well to try to conceal it.

What it boils down to is the party of racism, or the party of racism that lies and pretends they are not?

One bad trait is better than two, IMO. The dull ones probably disagree, and I understand considering their thickness and unwillingness to face the ugly truth.

Some important books demand re-reading.

I guess if you don't "get" them the first time around . . .

" "useful idiot"

HA! Given that the person I see using it most (or at all) on this site is a conservative, it's pretty funny to put the phrase on lefties.
+++++

"Now that is probably the best reason I have heard--evar..."

I call it an entirely sad reason, as I said to a friend the other night. Ron Paul will cease to be Ron Paul (a real maverick) because it will hurt his son's chances at power? Also says really fucked up things about American politics.

Are you saying that Bush didn't start the Iraqi war or that none of the people fighing it were republicans, northgay?

What a mindless, dumbshit, kneejerk, party controlled freak you are to make such a stupid statement.

No fuckhead-read the comment. Bush started two wars to save America from radical islamicist evil doers and none of his kids, or his nephews and nieces bothered signing up. Same with Reagan. And Nixon.

Newt and Rmoney have service age eligible children, but they apparently would rather cruise around in 200 grand buses and convert dead people than defend America from the Caliphate. I can see it for Rmoney's kids to an extent, Mormons ain't much more Christian than Muslims.

And Goatsy, with a COPD death looming over your shoulder, you should calm down. You'll hack a lung out.

The honey badger is going to run 3rd party and break the GOP. I can't wait.

No fuckhead-read the comment.

I did. It still says

We all know Republicans don't actually fight in the wars their Party starts.
which is still a lie. Did yo uthink it would magically become the truth just because I read it twice? LOL I think the saying is "third time is a charm." Should I read it a third time and see if it comes true, northgay?

What is the major disconnect with you lefties and reality, northgay?

Northgay repeatedly walks in to the opposing party's fists with his war, enlistment, veteran talk.

A) He himself never served, and then stupidly attempts to ridicule others for the same
B) Thinks President's family and friends should serve in the wars he starts, yet never inquires about what family members of Clinton or Obama have served in the military (because as we know, Obama and Clinton never did)
C) He is so over the top stupid that even spelling out how stupid he is will not help him realize that fact. He will continue to mention the same shit, and have his face rubbed in it.

Is there any doubt he's a glutton for punishment?

Hey northgay, did Chelsea Clinton ever sign up? How many of barack and Michelle's friends and family have signed up? What's that? Where did you go, dummy?

Surely that retard has seen the data that shows the military identifies stronger with republicans, right? Of course he has, yet he's too fucking stupid to comprehend it.

Goat,
You continually make him look like a fucking fool, which admittedly is easy, but I fear you may grow tired of taunting and toying with him. Why not kick sand in one of the other retort speedbag's faces for a while? I think I saw a post from americunty earlier...

. Bush started two wars to save America from radical islamicist evil doers and none of his kids, or his nephews and nieces bothered signing up.

???

So? What is your point? Are people's family members bound by some unknown law to sign up and endorse what their parents do?

Fuck you are stuypid, northgay. Where do you come up with this crezy and imaginary view of the world you puke out here?

My uncle works in synthetic textiles. Does this mean his kids have to wear rayon and nylon and never cotton?

What is it with lefties like you and your aversion to reality, northgay?

Why not kick sand in one of the other retort speedbag's faces for a while?

Northgay is more fun because I can pull his strings and make him come out with his "abandoned kids" thing. I like making him do that one because even a significant number of lefties have told him he makes himself look like an idiot repeating that it.

But for some reason he hasn't used that one as much and has latched on to some notion I am dying of COPD. It's just as funny. I just have to pull a different string on him to get that one out.

In short, he's an easy mark -- a puppet I can make dance with my eyes closed which they usually are before my coffee.

that shows the military identifies stronger with republicans, right?

Which part of the military contains the Bush daughters, the Rmoney boys or whatever Newt bred, 101?

You and Goatsy have to stop being such knee-jerk GOPper shills. Or find facts to back up your assertions.

On a lighter note-Santorum is unfit to be President, according to Goatsy's smartest man in America, because he speaks Italian.

The same part where the Obama and Clinton neices, nephews, and kids served, dumbfuck. Didn't I just literally explain that to you in my post #206? Hell, I even clearly stated you were too fucking stupid to comprehend it even if I spelled it out, which I did...

For fuck's sake, you are one stupid mother fucker.

Which part of the military contains the Bush daughters, the Rmoney boys or whatever Newt bred, 101

Still waiting for you to show me that law where someone is supposed to do as their parents and uncles, dumbshit.

Why do you keep coming back for more abuse, northgay? You've made your poing a million times over that you are a know nothing dumbshit with who is frightened shitless by reality. Are you now trying to prove your masochistic tendencies as well?

OK, we get that, too.

....Santorum is unfit to be President, according to Goatsy's smartest man in America, because he speaks Italian.

???

What does this mean, northgay?

Why are you so far removed from reality and the truth?
