Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs
Tuesday, January 17, 2012

A Greyhound bus driver became belligerent towards a group of passengers traveling from California to the Jan. 17 Occupy Congress protest in Washington, D.C., kicking them off and stranding them in Amarillo, Texas. Driver Donald Ainsworth told them they were not welcome in Washington or anywhere else. "Don asked every passenger 'are you with Occupy?' To the 13 of us who responded yes, the police ordered them to exit the bus," said one passenger in an account posted on Reddit.

Sounds like he is going to be a member of "Occupy the Unemployment Office" group.

not for long.

I can imagine a countless number of employers who will gladly invite Don Ainsworth in for an interview and even if they have no openings....will create an opening for him.

It would be gross and humiliating enough to ride on a greyhound bus, but being stuck alongside Fleabaggers? No fucking than you.

Hell, you'd most likely be infected with lice, bed bugs, fleas, chiggers, TB, and an insatiable need to take from your betters.

"not for long."

Yeah...because there's a high demand for ignorant assholes who treat customers like shit.

He'll be employed at his local DMV in no time.

Sure, if they conduct their business with the absolute lack of professionalism that Mr. Ainsworth showed.
Whether it's pharmacists or bus drivers, right-wingers aren't able to let their politics do the jobs they're paid to do.

-He'll be employed at his local DMV in no time.

interesting post. if he fails in the private sector...the govt is always willing to hire him.

gee, and I thought staunch rabid lefties thought govt employees were no worse or even BETTER than private sector workers......

He'll be employed at his local DMV in no time.

Or managing your case of the aids under the Obamacare Umbrella...

Darth, I agree that it's unprofessional....but the only thing I said was that there are employers who would love a guy like him.

you don't have to like it....but it's true.

I'm sure it would be the same badly run businesses who complain they can't turn a profit because of minimum wage laws and other 'government regulation'.

Maybe Joe the Plumber is looking for some talent?

I'm sure it would be the same badly run businesses who complain they can't turn a profit because of minimum wage laws and other 'government regulation'.

it could be anybody who hires low skilled workers (like a bus driver) and would love to have a guy like that around.

but perhaps not a position where he interacts with the customers....

you know....like this guy...

www.youtube.com

I can imagine a countless number of employers who will gladly invite Don Ainsworth in for an interview and even if they have no openings.

I can imagine a great many things that will not happen. This is one of them.

No refund? What a bunch of BS!

Another good reason to check out MEGABUS.

Who's shocked that a poor man's celery (monstman) rides buses? What failure.

I can imagine a great many things that will not happen. This is one of them.

you can't imagine an employer who has no like for the OWS crowd? and furthermore, might be smiling when reading a story like this one?

Stranding them in Amarillo is torture enough, no need to be rude about it.

-No refund? What a bunch of BS!

hold on there. lemme get this straight....the driver was able to get the fare out of these people and NOT take them to their destination?

a bunch of people who obviously have no other options for cross country travel anyway.....

He made a profit for his employer.

he might get promoted.

afterall, he put up with this vermin all the way to Amarillo TX. Don't judge Don too harshly.

you can't imagine an employer who has no like for the OWS crowd?

Sure.

I can't imagine an employer that is that fucked in the mind enough to hire an employee that shows he cannot relate to an opposing point of view (because we all know every single employees has the exact same beliefs, right?) of a co-worker or a customer, has been shown to treat customers extremely extremely extremely bad, and will hire him to sit and do nothing thereby demoralizing the working employees. At least not a successful employer.

What failure.

Like John Madden.

Greyhound’s own regulations specify that “carriers reserve the right to refuse to transport a person under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs, or who is incapable of taking care of him/herself, or whose conduct is such or likely to be such as to make him or her objectionable to other passengers or prospective passengers, or who refuses to comply with any lawful rule or regulation of the carrier.” Nothing in what the occupiers have said indicates that they were in violation of any of these criteria.

so far, the only word we have is from the shitheaps that were thrown off the bus (after 1,200 miles)

nothing from the driver nor from any of the other passengers...just from the shitheaps tossed off the bus.

I mean it's not like the OWS folks have been guilty of any kind of behavior that would be cause to remove them from the bus or anything.

no.....not at all.

"I mean it's not like the OWS folks have been guilty of any kind of behavior that would be cause to remove them from the bus or anything."

Guilty until proven innocent cuz you disagree with them. Maybe you should go get a job at Greyhound where they don't let you ride unless you agree with the driver's point of view.
This sounds like something from the 60's.

"you can't imagine an employer who has no like for the OWS crowd?

Sure"

so you've changed your mind then? First it was this.....

"I can imagine a great many things that will not happen. This is one of them."

so now you CAN imagine it happening?

I didn't say anything other than "an employer"...not some place I said I would work.

"Guilty until proven innocent cuz you disagree with them."

this from danni.

really.

from danni.

It's not like danni or any other leftie here really gives a shit anyway but rather pretends to be outraged at this bus driver.

If it turns out that the OWS folks deserved to be removed, then they will be quiet as kittens.

As far as I'm concerned...Greyhound will have to account for this, including the firing of the driver, if they can't justify removing those passengers and not even compensating them.

so you've changed your mind then? First it was this.....
"I can imagine a great many things that will not happen. This is one of them."

Nice try.

I can imagine a countless number of employers who will gladly invite Don Ainsworth in for an interview and even if they have no openings....will create an opening for him.

I cannot imagine an employer dumb enough to hire him even if they have no openings.

Suddenly an employer that will hire him even if they have no openings morphs into an employer who has no like for the OWS crowd.

Make sure you stretch before you move those goalposts.

I sure can imagine one that does not like OWS.

I cannot imagine one that will hire this douche.

-Suddenly an employer that will hire him even if they have no openings morphs into an employer who has no like for the OWS crowd.

what other reason would there be? It didn't morph into anything, 726. that was always the point.

And what difference does it matter why? My words were clear...you just didn't read them.

you just now caught up and it's my fault?

nice try.

If someone else hires this guy to a position where he has to interact with customers, they are not very smart at business. A smart business keeps political ideology and religious views in the back office, where customers can't see them.

Two OWS stories in one day?

The Anyone-But-Rmoney desperation must really be taking its toll on the mouthbreaters.

Face is, losers. You WILL vote for the draft dodging, dog molesting, magic underwear wearing, RomneyCare creating, white multimillionaire Job Destroyer.

Because you are sheep. Sheep that just enjoy having your hind legs put in boots and getting raped.

No number of OWS, Angry Black Woman, Brown People Sneaking Across the Border, Obama is a Socialist or any other bullshit stories will save you from the fact that you are just a bunch of very cheap whores that will obediently do as you are told.

You will even happily parrot the impending barrage of pro-Rmoney lies about to be spoon fed to you by Fuck Snooze, Flush Rimjob and the rest of the traitorous scum media.

Even you pathetic morons that claim to be libertarians. And Smurpy. Hell, she'll probably be the first to embrace the 'Power of the Pants' (TM).

This guy must have had a good reason for his action. Maybe the stench was unbearable. Then again, prior to leaving he could have had one rape, a robbery and 2 beatings.

My words were clear...you just didn't read them.

Yes they were.

Your argument was "An employer will hire him even if they have to create a position that does not exist."

Then it became "An employer does not like the OWS"

Clearly they are exactly the same. How foolish of me. Carry on.

Maybe the stench was unbearable.

Is that what they tell you?

what other reason would there be?

So your argument is that every single employer that dislikes OWS will all create job openings just to hire this guy?

Every single one of them?

I cannot imagine any business owner that will create a job opening solely to hire this guy whether they dislike OWS or not.

"he began making personal and rude comments towards members when boarding with tickets. No one responded"

No one responded, really? You know this is bullshit.

-So your argument is that every single employer that dislikes OWS will all create job openings just to hire this guy?

why are you begging me to beat you up over this again?

what don't you understand?

an employer who can't stand the OWS filth and scum.....say...a manufacturing business or a warehouse or some other kind of business owner who runs a a business where he hires low skilled folks like this bus driver. He might like a story like this....he might want to hire him. plain and simple.

why are you saying "every single employer"?

Do you pretend to be this obtuse or is it legitimate?

Wallback is a thin skinned little shit that has a hard time admitting when he's wrong, as you can clearly see.

Oh, and he pretends to be moderate, politically speaking. Just like Danforth is an (I).

Just comment on his fat wife, and ugly twins, and call it a day.

Apparently the driver doesn't have clue as to the class of people that are Greyhound's customers. Terrible business model.

why are you saying "every single employer"?

"Do you pretend to be this obtuse or is it legitimate?"

Does it really matter when it comes to another useless lib like 726? Is it really a surprise this clown is too stupid to see he is arguing a obvious fact "someone" would hire this guy?

Greyhound has tweeted this response:

"Hi All, we are aware of the Occupy Congress situation. We have notified executive management. We appreciate your patience."

They should all sue Greyhound. You can't strand people somewhere because you hired a douche to drive the bus.

You can't strand people somewhere because you hired a douche to drive the bus.

Actually, according to their policy, they can. See below:
Greyhound's own regulations specify that carriers reserve the right to refuse to transport a person under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs, or who is incapable of taking care of him/herself, or whose conduct is such or likely to be such as to make him or her objectionable to other passengers or prospective passengers, or who refuses to comply with any lawful rule or regulation of the carrier.

I imagine he'll hang his hat on "conduct likely to be such (objectionable)".

According to the Amarillo paper, it was one passenger in particular he wanted to kick off the bus, but the other protestors had a "solidarity pact" and left also.

"They should all sue Greyhound. You can't strand people somewhere because you hired a douche to drive the bus."

As usual Sally wants someone to sue to somebody as though it is a remedy...

How do you lock up people in a bus anyway, unless you're going to chain up all the exits from the outside? If you're in the bus, you walk up to the front, jerk the handle, and the door opens. There is an emergency exit in the back, and several windows also that pop out. It's like the Family Guy episode where Peter locks himself in his own car by accidentally dropping his keys out the window. Are they all retards?

When little details like that make it into the story, you wonder what else has been left out.

How do you lock up people in a bus anyway

Isn't there a Polish joke about getting locked IN his car?

If they were locked in they would have screamed and kicked out windows and shat all over the place.

I'm sure it would be the same badly run businesses who complain they can't turn a profit because of minimum wage laws and other 'government regulation'.

Darth, I thought you liked Danni.

Somebody needed to beat shit out of him.

Whether it's pharmacists or bus drivers, right-wingers aren't able to let their politics do the jobs they're paid to do.

Which is when they start acting up just beat the ever loving shit out of them and leave. fuck em. They want to treat people uncivil its time to respond in kind.

I originally wrote "Mr Rogers" but then i knew some bastard would say "I'd piss too because he's dead", so I changed it to Jim J Bullock...then I saw where you said he was dead, and I was pissed. Then I saw the retraction, and now I'm happy again.

The emotional roller coaster that is the Retort is almost too much to handle...I need a drink.

i knew some bastard would say "I'd piss too because he's dead"

What it sounds like is a bunch of people who, hour after hour after hour, can't just shut the fuck up.

Riding a bus is awful enough on its own without having to listen to a dozen ignorant assholes talking and yelling politics non-stop for 20 hours.

This driver just did what millions of fathers have wanted to do on a road trip: "You kids shut up or I'm pulling over and putting you out!"

The evidence was clear after investigators found hypodermic needles and human feces in the seats where those who were kicked off the bus had been sitting. I am sure of it.
