Actually, we would not be yammering about what a great cruise it is. In the hands of a conscientious and responsible captain, we would be grateful for all the unseen and unheralded work he was doing in our behalf, even if we could not quite see all the results at the moment. We would do our best to trust him to do the right thing, even if other people with the cruise line were doing their damndest to undermine his authority and derail his efforts.

Tony Z rather reminds me of a trained chimpanzee who spends all his time around humans.

He knows the humans are smarter than he is, and he resents it terribly. He'd like to do something about it, but his limited intelligence is a handicap, and he knows it.

He has no understanding of how to make any weapon where he could attack the humans. Guns are beyond him, so are catapults and slingshots and even knives, since he doesn't really understand which end is which.

Finally, he settles for the one thing he's got - his own shit. Picking up a handful, he throws it at anyone within reach. Since he gets a reaotion, he tells himself he's accomplished something.

Pretty soon, the humans figure he's not much fun to have around, and pack him off to another zoo or circus or lab.

Stopped in to see my sister-in-law in Indiana and had a good cry together over my brother's recent death but will be able to spend time with another brother down south. Nothing like family.
