I would think that when statistically a third of adults are obese, they would want some practice with the larger cadavers. But I guess since fat people are second class citizens who have to try to live with everything else that is designed for the ideal specimen, medical care should be no different.

In cadaver lab we had a very senior cachetic female with no muscle. Our neighbors had a middle age obese male so lots of sharing of findings. Once you got past the fat the big guy had huge muscles that were fun to discect. Fun; I know, that sounds sick. Our lady had biceps that were the size of my thumb. easy to find vessels and nerves. All shapes and sizes can be useful. I will admit, getting the 300 pounder up out of the fluid took two people at each end of the tank.
Of the 24 cadavers none were 'ideal'.

Well just remember, that Michelle Obama looks out the WH windows and gets really pissed at how fat American children are. She really hates them and is always yelling at Obama to do something about them. So we, as loyal Americans need to make sure that they are never exposed to fat children, period.
