Government is shrinking under as it usually does under Dems while rising under GOP regimes.
Was blackmailed into keeping the BushCo tax cuts from expiring but ended up getting more help for the unemployed and kept the middle class cuts so kinda a draw there but not his fault.
Developed a Consumer Protection Bureau with the help of Congress who immediately had a shit-fit when they saw Liz Warren was gonna run it. So the GOP used cheap political tactics to not only block her from the appointment but to also block anyone from taking that position for almost 2 years before Obama used his own trick to make a recess appointment.
Got Sotomayer and Kagan on the SCOTUS balancing off Bush's truly awful choices.
Also good is what Obama did not do.
Obamam did not come to get anyone's guns as RW whackjobs predicted.
Obama did not try to defund women's health services like PPP.
Obama did not try to make gay people second class citizens with a special amendment codifying bigotry into America's values.
Obama did not distrust science over the plausible deniability of the AGW denial industry, a wholly owned subsidary of BigEnergy.
