See the documentary Militainment. (It's about a half-hour too long and has a few other flaws, but there's some truly horrifying stuff in there...)

It could not be more certain that the US and Israel are itching for a war on Iran. It's only a question of how they manipulate public opinion into thinking they are the good guys.

Look how they manipulated Obama into the presidency.

"You furnish the pictures and I'll furnish the war."

William Randolph Hearst

They use similar tactics with everything else the cover. Obama Care is a perfect example, the media mocked out anyone who talked about health care rationing or anything negative. Now that the bill has passed the very same media is now doing pieces on health care rationing, and how it's the only solution.

Also look what they did with Iraq, they didn't do any real investigation before the war on the Bush administrations claims, and then after the war started and they found most of the claims to be false, they said we should have done more investigating.

Yea right! They made a killing off that war.

Youtube comments make Spud weep for the future of humanity.

They are, quite simply, the lowest form of writing on earth.

They make bathroom grafitti look like Shakespeare in direct comparison.

But Spud digresses.

Does the corporate media shape opinion under the guise of reporting and reflecting on it?

Yes, yes it does.

Has for a while, in fact.

Do governments in collusion with media manipulate the public towards accepting if not openly cheering for war?

Yeah, anyone who was around in 2003 can tell you that.

Gulf of Tonkin incident is another good example and, of course, Roy Batty already brought us that infamous Hearst quote about the Spanishâ€"American War.

It's a very old game.

Be Well.

Headline is wrong. Should be "How Do The Corporations That Own The Media And All Politicians.....etc."

Nothing new:

"you provide the pictures, I'll provide the war"- William R Hurst
