Rick Santorum is receiving fresh scrutiny over his endorsement of moderate Republican incumbent Arlen Specter against a strong conservative challenger in the 2004 GOP Senate primary in Pennsylvania. At the first two stops of his final swing through western Iowa, the most conservative part of the state and his stronghold, Santorum was questioned about his endorsement of Specter, an abortion-rights supporter.

Here is a new one you never heard from me. It's Bush's fault. Santorum took a bullet for the team. Pat Toomey was the real conservative and Bush and Rove didn't want him or didn't think he could pull Philly.

Sphincter of Derp endorsed Specter of Doom?

Did he at least get a santorum surge?

Be Well.

egaaaad, because of too many Bond movies

And worse, I hear he is 1/64 th not white! and he missed church twice last year! And he was overheard saying "Gosh dang it" when he hit his thumb with a hammer back in 1975! He's morally unfit to be the nominee of the most morally unfit party in America!

The fucking Republicans are really right out to lunch this time around, ain't they?

I would think it would haunt Specter even more...

We have a primary with canidates who have history and accomplishments and in some cases failures. It's so much easier to just go find a community organizer who voted present most of his life.

"who voted present most of his life."

Ah, that old tactic: lie.

Hillery has it right

Obama voted 'present' nearly 130 times as State Senator

IOW, you barfed up something false, and then linked to a clip which includes proof you were wrong.

Nice job.

"Obama voted 'present' nearly 130 times as State Senator"

So?

That didn't stop him from receiving 69,456,897 votes, nationwide.

You had that in 2000 and yet you went with the cokehead who talked like a cowboy.

When necessary.

How'd that turn out for America?

Hint:
You elected the worst President and C-in-C ever. 9-11, economic collapse, surplus to deficits,Iraq clusterfuck? Any of those ring a bell?

^The only people that believe that Bush was the worst are the ones that also believe that O'Bugger is possibly the BEST (wipe chin now) but for sure no worse than 4th greatest president EVER. In other words lunatics.

when did he ever talk like a cowboy?

oh, you've only managed to see one western in your life which is is your only frame of reference?

not surprised.......lemme guess which one.....

I watched the debate between Santorum and Casey--it was embarassing to watch.

Santorum is a fine person--just not for POTUS.

Holy shit, Republicans. Are you bound and determined to find the biggest piece of shit possible as your nominee?

Really?

How come everyone believes that it was because he is not G.W. Bush and not a Republican.

OH! And because of the campaign promises that he ran on that never seemed to materialize.

You're worship of Bush II is showing..

God, I hope not.

"You're worship of Bush II is showing.."

You are worship of Bush II is showing?

WTF is THAT supposed to mean?

Iowa means absolutely squat in nominating a President. Santorum may finish 3rd in Iowa, but he has absolutely zero chance (along with Paul, Perry, Bachmann and Huntsman) of ever getting the nomination. Gingrich is the only potential threat to Romney, largely because South Carolina currently shows him in the lead. That will probably change in the next week.

All of this extracurricular garbage that we read & watch is just for ratings. You can turn off your favorite cable news show now, I will spoil it for you. Romney will win the nomination for the GOP.

"Iowa means absolutely squat in nominating a President."

Flag: Newsworthy

.

Calling Obama "Bush II" is hilarious. Obama finishes wars and kills or catches the terrorists he goes after.

Obama finishes wars and kills or catches the terrorists he goes after.

He can even divide by zero.

Obama didn't catch anyone, special forces trained in this type of thing did, while Obama sat like a frightened child in the White House.

Doing his job doesn't make Obama a 'hero'.

Obama finishes wars

And yet the war in Afghanistan drags on.

Obama didn't catch anyone ...

By that reasoning, no president ever accomplished anything during a war by serving as commander in chief. It's funny how far you'll go to diminish Obama.

The only people that believe that Bush was the worst are the ones that also believe that O'Bugger is possibly the BEST

No, Bubba and FDR beat him so far. As for Bush being the worst-what did he ever succeed at as President? The economy? National defense? Winning wars? Accomplishing a Mission?

Poor Rex doesn't remember his hero War Preznet Dubya running off to Cornhole Nebraska with the entire USAF covering his ass on 9-11. and Rex, if having bin laden whacked was just his job (which it was), what does that make Bush for letting bin laden go at Tora Bora?

Keep your bizzarre fantasies seperate from my statements of fact.

Rogers, if Obama had known about Osama's where abouts and done nothing, he would have been immediately impeached, he had no other option but to do what was done. Doing his job is not in itself 'heroic', you take (the leftist spin take) is just a crass attempt to garner votes in November.

#11 What's this "we" shit NG3. You as a Canadian don't fucking qualify as part of the US voters. There is no YOU in WE.

FUCK OFF DOUCHE BAG

"Obama voted 'present' nearly 130 times as State Senator"

Uh-huh and?

You say that like it's a bad thing or something.

Oh right, cos yer little RW echo chamber has drilled it into your head that it is a bad thing.

Here's a clue, fuckwit, it's not.

Voting "present" on a bill in the State Senate in Illinois just means that the bill is not yet worthy of being voted for but still holds enough possibility that reconciliation after further amending is possible.

Why are so many RW talking points all so freakin' pants-on-head retarded?

Be Well.

#11 What's this "we" shit NG3

NG# was quoting Paneoass there, dipshiat.

Reading comprehension really isn't your thing is it?

Be Well.

Apparently the endorsement wasn't quite the campaign killer after all.
