Kent Sorenson, the Iowa state chairman for Michele Bachmann, ditched her campaign Wednesday night to endorse Ron Paul. "We have a choice where we can elect more of the same -- or we can elect someone who's going to transform this country to get it back to what our founding fathers wanted, and I believe that's Ron Paul," he said. Sorensanen attended a Bachmann event in Indianola that afternoon just hours before appearing at a Paul rally in Des Moines to announce his endorsement.

I wouldn't get to excited about someone who was crazy enough to support Bachmann. If anything this TAKES AWAY from Paul, not adds.

GOPers are such little whores.

I'm certainly not a Bachman supporter but this guy is truely a POS. If the Paul campaign were smart they'd announce that they want nothing to do with someone like this, he has zero integrity.

Bachmann's campaign is dead on arrival in Iowa.

This kind of thing happens all the time in primaries so nobody should act shocked or offended.

Basically, all Sorenson did here was extend his political shelf life this cycle by jumping from the frying pan into the fire.

*snert*

GL w/ that.

Be Well.

/Paul is set up to compete in 50 states.
//Bachmann is basically broke.
///Not hard to figure.

Gop: cant beat em so join em. Of course its better than him switching to a bummer.

Why is he a POS? I can't help but imagine a situation where a Biden or Clinton manager, during the media's love affair with Obama and cries for Clinton to drop out, would switch teams to his- and the response to that.

And Exprs, I think that's unfair. Until Bachmann sold out to the whole "I hate gays and Muslims" social-conservative vote thing, and stuck strictly to Obamacare, debt limit increases, etc, she had a lot going for her. The guy even said that if Paul had entered the race earlier, he wouldn't have opted for Bachmann.

Adman-Bachmann was the hate gay and muslim candidate long before the social conservatives embraced her. She is not the product of rightwing theocratic radicalism, she's the mother of it.

This assklown whore obviously knows Bachmann won't do squat in Iowa and will drop out within days of the primary.

Oh, come on. You still talk to Corky.

Obama's campaign manager Rex Zeitgeist was unavailable for comment.

If this woman will lie about this she will lie about anything!

Bachmann a no term president!

She seems to have a problem with a "Free Market".

Bachmann stands firm on bribery allegation against Paul campaign

www.washingtonpost.com

So it's a bribe to take a better offer?

From the WaPo article: Paul’s campaign earlier had sent out a statement by Wes Enos, Bachmann’s Iowa political director, also denying the bribery charge.

“I can say unequivocally that Kent Sorenson’s decision was, in no way financially motivated,” Enos said in his statement. “While I personally disagree with Kent’s decision, and plan to stay with Michele Bachmann because I truly believe in her, I cannot, in good conscious watch a good man like Kent Sorenson be attacked as a ‘sell-out.’”

Bachmann said in a later interview with CNN that Enos has now quit her campaign and been replaced as political director.

The guy even said that if Paul had entered the race earlier, he wouldn't have opted for Bachmann.

Paul has been running for years!!! Did he really say that with a straight face?

And if --If--Paul had come in after Bachmann--why didn't the guy jump ship then?

Because he's lying--that's why.

This whole issue makes Paul look like a dirty politician--dirtier than most. He's got some real dirtbags surrounding him.

It's a distraction four days before the caucus.

Paul disrupted Bachmann's campaign. Not to say she is going to win or place in the top tier.

But people perceive injustice and could vote according to those perceptions.

And if Bachmann is such a poor candidate and does drop out after Iowa--the guy could have gone over to Paul at that time.

Sorenson is a douche and man of no integrity.

Paul disrupted Bachmann's campaign.

What campaign? She's been a disaster since Ames. She's done after Iowa. I expect santorum, too. Are you gonna blame Perry for Bachmann's NH crew quitting en masse?

What the hell took him so long?
