Kan, I grew up Catholic. We were taught that all the other denominations were, you know, um, not quite kosher, to borrow a term from your people.

So intra-faith squabbles have always been going on (or at least for a very long time). Sunni/Shiite, ultra-orthodox/secular, and so on.
