This is going to make obama's run a little more difficult.

People don't work, people don't vote for you.

The bleaker the job outlook, the bleaker the chances of the zero getting re-elected. Remember St. Willie's unofficial campaign theme in '92: "It's the economy, stupid"

Obummer will do everything in his power to manipulate the stats but it won't be enough. Also, in spite of the payroll tax cut stimulus, it won't be enough to levitate the markets and the economy.

An economy built on debt cannot stand. This one has just about gone to its limits.

#3 Goatman: The bleaker the job outlook, the bleaker the chances of the zero getting re-elected.

I've been saying for more than a year that there are only two main things that will determine who the next president will be: 1) the state of the economy, specifically unemployment, and 2) how well qualified the R candidate is. The media is already trying to spin news stories so it looks like the economy is better than it actually is, but they're largely in the bag for the Dems so that is not unexpected. The overall quality of the R candidates is pretty poor (IMO) but the media is doing all they can to make them look even worse. Still O might just be in the fight of his life to win reelection and it may take the ginormous campaign funds he has already accumulated. It sure won't be boring.

Two slogans the Repubs could use with some effectiveness (not that they will, btw) are:

It's the economy, stupid!

It's the national debt, stupid!

Actually, 2011 was the bleak year for Jobs. That's the year he died.

Shoot. Goat beat me to it.
