Reports that Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul stormed out of a CNN interview earlier this week appear to be false ..

Raw footage obtained of the Thursday interview shows that it lasted nearly ten minutes, and after discussing foreign policy, the payroll tax, negative advertisements, and super fund PACs, the interview concluded with three minutes of discussion on the issue of and homophobic letters, after which, CNN staff removes Paul's mic while with the info-babe babbles pleasantries

yes Mr gi, of what relevance is FOX in this thread?

Wait.. I missed that the first time: Ron Paul is opposed to unemployment extensions. Well, that is a shame. I suppose there are no ideal boneheads.

Is anyone else tired of all the weekly examples of news outlet bias? Can we just accept that there are varying levels of bias in every person and every news source? Week after week we are treated to a thread about political bias on FOX or CNN or MSNBC, as if it's some kind of earth shaking revelation. I suppose I'm just burned out with "news" stories about political bias or racism or other entry level political observations.

valid point Mr GI, however if we just accept it we all will become .. danni

Where does this article link to proof that CNN ever asserted that Ron Paul stormed out?

Where does this article link to proof that CNN ever asserted that Ron Paul stormed out?

Good question....

Propagandist Borger ended the interview with an outrageous insinuation and lie: "Some of this stuff was very incendiary, you know... saying that in 1993 the Israelis were responsible for the bombing of the World Trade Center". The newsletters, politically incorrect as they might have been, NEVER made such a claim. That's pure propaganda.

Pure?

Quick, to the way-back machine...

No foreign country was mentioned in the newsletters more often than Israel. A 1987 newsletter termed it "an aggressive, national socialist state", and another missive, on the subject of the 1993 World Trade Center attack, concluded, "Whether it was a setup by the Israeli Mossad, as a Jewish friend of mine suspects, or was truly a retaliation by the Islamic fundamentalists, matters little."

~Ron Paul Survivalist Newsletter. 1994.

A'ight, technically Ron Paul never made that claim the newsletter just proffered it as an alternate theory.

The powers that be are worried Paul will do better than expected in Iowa and all aspects of the corporate media from FOX to MSNBC are in full slam mode atm.

CNN/MSNBC is Democrat.
FOX is Republican.
Any questions?

*raises hand*

If that's true then explain this graph below showing Republicans getting far more air time than Democrats on the major news networks?

thinkprogress.org

American corporate news media is corporate first and foremost and that means conservative.

FOX having gone so far to the hard right may make the other networks seem more liberal in direct comparison but the fact remains that most media in the US is conservative/corporate.

Yeah, realize this goes against an entire narrative you've been hard sold for years now and believe in completely.

Just sayin'.

Be Well.

There are no links. CNN did not claim Paul stormed out of the interview. That has been added by overzealous media types and posters.
