An Arizona college student involved in a five-car accident in October, who was believed at one time to be brain dead, has awakened from a coma as hospital officials were beginning to talk to his family about organ donation. Sam Schmid, who suffered a hemorrhage, aneurysm and a stroke, is now expected to make a full recovery. "Nobody could ever give me a better Christmas present than this -- ever, ever, ever," said his mother, Susan Regan.
