I can't stand that pretentious, Gonzo-Wannabe, Cock-Starvis-like prose. It is excruciating to read.

That said, the guy taps into some themes/shit that remind you why good literature is so important to humanity.

It was a hell of a story. I have a framed, wall-sized relief map of the American southwest and northern Mexico in my bedroom. I like trying to figure out where the stories took place based on his physical descriptions.

I appreciate that critique, and mostly agree with it. (I assume you know there is no "Blood Meridian" movie, and that you must be referring to No Country for Old Men or The Road. Personally, I think The Road was better than the movie, and No Country was basically identical to the movie.)
