Pol Pot's deputy Nuon Chea testified at his war crimes trial that the Khmer Rouge were "not bad people" and blamed Vietnam for the deaths of Cambodians during the regime's rule. "I don't want the next generations to misunderstand the history," Nuon Chea said. "I don't want them to misunderstand that the Khmer Rouge are bad people, are criminals. Nothing is true about that."

Wow.

This guy, Nuon Chea, sounds like a Cambodian version of Jestgettingstupider.

.

Noam Chomsky's made a pretty good living babbling nonsense that essentially says the same thing.

Yeah, and Hitler was by all reports I've seen quite kind to his dog Blondi - at least up until near the finale of the Gotterdammerung, when he had some schlump test out a cyanide capsule on the poor bitch.

Oh, great...mao se dung chimes in on yet another subject of which he has absolutely no fucking clue about.

.

the Khmer Rouge were "not bad people"

sure sure! doesn't every good country have a place they call the "Killing Fields" because there are so many human skulls lying about?

This is supposed to be a happy occasion! Let's not bicker and argue about who killed who.

Nuon Chea went on to say: "And I want to give a big shoutout to my friends Richard Nixon and Henry Kissinger, who helped us to gain power and protected us from the really bad people, the Vietnamese."

"Mussolini kept the trains on time!"

GOP

"Hitler was a prompt payer."

Henry Ford & Prescott Bush

"Hitler hated the Brits even more than I did."

Papa Joe Kennedy

"Chairman Mao made a great cup of tea."

Richard Nixon

They really need to hurry up and hang these guys before they die of natural causes.

ya! Henry Kissinger IS gettin really old and Tricky Dick has already gone to be with Hitler and Mussolini in the Big Bunker.

"Henry Kissinger IS gettin really old"

He should be given a ride in a helicopter.....Perhaps the most evil man to ever be Sec. of State. Perhaps????

People can convince themselves of all sorts on untruths. And then there some who are just liars and history revisers. Cambodia has the record for killing the biggest percentage of its people, doesn't it?

Yeah sure,

....and neither is Blankfein, Bernanke, BushII, Cheney, Geithner, Greenspan, Lay, Madoff, McGuire, Mozila, Obama, Paulson, Rubin, Scrushy, Summers..... and on and on, I mean all they ever did was murder or steal or both.....

I think you are full of it big time on this one.
I call this a big fat lie

Actually it was the Vietnamese who shut these assholes down.

I mean the great act of genocide in the modern period is Pol Pot, 1975 through 1978 - that atrocity - I think it would be hard to find any example of a comparable outrage and outpouring of fury and so on and so forth." -- Noam Chomsky

.... What Constitutes Criminality...Geography?

**** Just because the Khmer Rouge SYSTEMATICALLY Terrorized,Tortured and Murdered over 2 Million People.. they of course were "not bad people..at least by US Govt standards...considering that Bush,Obama and the US Govt systematically MURDERED over a Million Innocent People in Iraq and Afghanistan...and unlike the Khmer Rouge none of these U.S. "Officials" are being arrested or sent to trial!!!

doesn't every good country have a place they call the "Killing Fields" because there are so many human skulls lying about?

some more than others, Mr Donner ..
Detroit/Cinci/Buffalo 1970:
Weather Undrground participants including Bill Ayers, Bernardine Dohrn, Mark Rudd, Linda Evans, Jeff Jones, and others from Columbia University and other well-known Colleges .. planning the logistics for the elimination of the 25 million American people whom they figured would REFUSE to be re-educated after The Revolution

........we're too big to fail.......

......that is ...until such time as we do.....and then the American experiment will become just another footnote in history.......

That it took so long to put these animals on trial is a disgrace. The old JDL had the slogan "never again" in regards to the holocaust. How many mass killings have happened without a peep since then? Too many.

My wife lived through this, she was orphaned at age 3 and worked picking up grains of rice that were missed during the harvest. Her earliest memories are of living off JUK (rice water). They were not good people.

#24 Bet she's desperate in bed. Good catch!
