Following your own logic, it could be seen that it's entirely the Dems fault. They wouldn't make a deal without getting their hands on someone else's money. They just can't live within their own means. Greedy Dems.

Fortunately, I don't share your bias and it's both parties fault. They should raise taxes on EVERYONE, including the bottom 40-50% that pay nothing in federal income taxes. They should also scale the military back, extend the age requirements for SS and reduce medicare for everyone. Obviously, they should limit subsidies to farmers and oil as well.
