The Kaukauna School District of 4,200 students & 400 employees faced an annual deficit of $400,000
the new law in effect for 5 days now, allowed school officials to institute policies that will turn that $400,000 deficit into a $1.5 million surplus.
teachers and staff will shoulder more health-care & pension costs.
those changes will save the school board an estimated $1.2 million this year
