Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

After former Sen. Rick Santorum said that Sarah Palin was likely skipping a prominent conservative conference because of "business opportunities" and her family responsibilities, Palin responded, "Just because I'm a mom that does not mean that I didn't want to be there. ... I will not call him the knuckle-dragging Neanderthal. I'll let his wife call him that instead."

Santorum responded that he hadn't dragged his knuckles in years, and that he would shave off the single eyebrow.

Cream of the crop!

.

Didn't sound like Santorum was being condescending at all.

I'm a big fan of Santorum. Be nice to have him in Washington again.

"I will not call him the knuckle-dragging Neanderthal."

instead i will imply it, cause, you know, big difference.

Not a fan of either...don't even know Santorum but this really seems like a non-issue that is being twisted into something sexist for political purposes.

Santorum: hey, i know you're a mom, but this is an important meeting that you should go to. is it possible that you can get a sitter for a day or two? money shouldn't be a problem, and do you have no family that could take care of them if it is?

Palin: STFU, Neanderthal!

Santorum is a dangerous lunatic.

Quick question,

Has it been a month yet? I thought RCADE was not going to put up any Palin threads on the front page for a month. Starting in February.

How frothy of yas.

Be Well.

Quick question,

Do we really have to deal with every idiotic thing Fox Pres candidates say, or can't we just pretend they are lucid?

That "tingling" up his and Corky's leg became an itch that spread to their anus and they just couldn't stand not to scratch it.

hahaha! I started to post the definition, but I know Ris the sensitive type.

Of course it is. Otherwise Corky wouldn't have spread the lie for all here to shove their foots in their mouths and beleive there is a hint of truth to what Santorum said, or what Palin said for that matter. Corky and CNN are pathetic and couldn't care less about being embarrassed for lying and making shit up.

I don't get it. What does frothy have to do with anything? Did you mean frosty?

I'd be more comfortable if Matsop could get his mind offa my 'anus".

-Otherwise Corky wouldn't have spread the lie

What lie is that, Lucy?

Palin's response is the newsy part, which is the point, not Santorum's remark.

Santorum is, by definition, well, frothy, RIR.

Explains a lot!

Santorum Quotes:

1. "I have no problem with homosexuality. I have a problem with homosexual acts."

Is someone making Rick engage in these acts?

2. Talikng about priests molesting children.
"Priests, like all of us, are affected by culture. When the culture is sick, every element in it becomes infected. While it is no excuse for this scandal, it is no surprise that Boston, a seat of academic, political and cultural liberalism in America, lies at the center of the storm."

I guess having one of the largest Catholic concentrations has nothing to do with it?

3. "Isn't that the ultimate homeland security, standing up and defending marriage?"

So, then you're going to return those DHS dollars you took, right?

4. On the Katrina victims: "I mean, you have people who don't heed those warnings and then put people at risk as a result of not heeding those warnings. There may be a need to look at tougher penalties on those who decide to ride it out and understand that there are consequences to not leaving."

Yeah, they should have just packed up the Range Rover and headed to their summer home.

If I didn't know better I would have presumed these headlines were related to Palin:

"Repub Credits Hooters for Her Success"
"Colorado GOP Chair 'Tired of the Nuts'"

Once again Sarah the Paleoloon demonstrates her thin skinned prickly ineptitude and lack of qualification for public office.
Seriously... the woman quit the only professional political job she ever had... when she resigned her position as governor half way through the term. The rest of the time she has been sort of trivial mouth piece for teascrotums.

The truth is if you look at her "professiona"l and academic life she has quit everything half way through.

Maybe so, but I remember the conversation, I guess RCADE either a) didn't agree to it or b) didn't uphold it.

Pretty tame.

Santorum tweeted that he hadn't said this about Palin but they put the video of him saying it on the Daily Show. He's a liar.

Wonder if Fox will have a WWE bout between "Neanderthal Slick" Santorum and "Mooseburger" Palin?

Hmmm. So Rick Santorum says some unkind things about "homosexual acts", and so gays respond by calling the after-splooge of gay sex "Santorum". And everyone laughs hysterically. Look, Spud! Did you know what the queers are calling "Santorum"! They're so funny!

It would be like a notable pro-lifer's name being used for the remains of a hoover-vacced skull, or something. All to get a good laugh. Very funny, don't you see?

Every day I think liberals and homos can't become more revolting, they surprise again. Why not call it "Apostle Paul", or "Moses"? They were saying things about homos millennia ago.

I never promised I would do that. I joked about doing it, but immediately admitted I would break down by Feb. 2. I love Palin. I would move next door to her to write her biography if I wasn't already planning to do that to Joe McGinniss.

Didn't sound like Santorum was being condescending at all.

When you see his remarks in context, I don't think he was being insulting either. It's amazing how quickly Palin takes offense at any perceived slight, even among like-minded people. She's a rapid-response Richard Nixon.

AHHHHHHHH!!!! The eating of the Republican Party has started, I love it!!!!

WTF!!!!!! It's still February RCADE.

You fail.

I guess that the Dtards are still used to calling their female opponents "whores". Flipping the coin here, had Santorum implied that Hillary not be able to participate politically because of her duties as a female and mom, you same guys would be rising to her defense. You hypocrites. Instead, Palin responds properly and honestly to his stupid comment. How refreshing. BTW, Palin has NEVER been to CPAC, so Santorum's comment was extra stupid.

Why is it that Dtards name-call all day long, but get all in a huff should anyone else use such "colorful" language?

I'm generally a believer in the 11th Commandment with respect to Republicans. That said, there are a lot of them I can't stand, McCain being first and foremost. Still, I wouldn't be able to call him a Neanderthal in a public forum. Palin needs to learn a lesson or two from her favorite Republican of all. Reagan would never have replied in this way to a fellow conservative. It wouldn't have occurred to him.

What lie is that, Lucy?

Palin's response is the newsy part, which is the point, not Santorum's remark.
#16 | Posted by Corky at 2011-02-10 11:02 AM

Pretty much explains it. Corky never bothered to see if the actual comments by Santorum were anything but another lazy LW, MM type hitjob, ignoring context or what was actually uttered. Then, Corky and CNN never bothered to even watch the video where Palin laughed at the losers who made this a story, and was actually calling ripping on the media. Here Neanderthal joke was in reference to the stupid fucks running with the orginal lie, and her comments reflect she was not offended in any way, or could find one ounce of truth to the ridiculous claims he slammed her. Just laughable how hungry you tools are, and the crazies in the media continue to feed you a mouth full of shit.

"had Santorum implied that Hillary not be able to participate politically because of her duties as a female and mom"

oh, did Hilary miss an important meeting because she was busy being a mom?

-Corky and CNN

Methinks she doth protest too much.

nevermind, ignore me, gotta go. so long and thanks for all the fish.
(in my past life i was a dolphin. unfortunately i as a bad dolphin and thus demoted to a human)

The stench of desperation and embarrassment is just overwhelming by the left, here and nationally. Of course Corky claims Santorums comments are meaningless and only cares about Palin's response as newsworthy. Which of course was another lie by the media. LMAO!!!

'Palin slams rival Santorum as 'knuckle-dragging Neanderthal'

You can pretty much credit the death of the 11th Commandment to (1) the Tea Party movement itself, (2) the whackjobs who are running for office in its wake (traditional Republicans trying to maintain the brand), and stretching back a little (3) the 2000 South Carolina primary (Bush/Rove v. McCain).

How is laughing at you defending Palin? Even here, you can't even see how fucking stupid you look by omitting half the sentence you pasted. She said, "that perhaps others would want to call him." Meaning the stupid fucks like you and the original source, and those who made this a story. Funny, how that slips past the brain with all those degrees you brag about.

Ooooo cat fight!

Rick has the advantage over SARAH!!! whennit comes to kids-he can carry his in his lunch bag. Just hope he doesn't mistake it for a big dill pickle.

And just for Danni here is the entire quote with the part left out in bold:

"I think the reports were much worse than what he really said. I think some things were really taken out of context. So I will not call him the knuckle dragging neanderthal that perhaps others would want to call him. I'll let his wife call him that instead."

Liberals, who have no sense of humor, didn't catch the jest in the quote.

Apparently liberals did not understand the first part of the quote either, so they left it out.

More a case of knucklehead than knuckle dragging here. Unless the GOP completely loses its mind neither of these guaranteed losers will survive the race for the nomination much beyond January of next year.

99% of the time, his threads are rooted in the same thing...

GOP = bad
DEMS = good

and ignore all evidence to the contrary. usually it doesn't boil down to a deliberate ommission of a quote.

Or when Zero says, "Let me be perfectly clear", or when Barney Frank says, "Thith thould be obviouth", or when Biden is making noise at all.

It takes one to know one.

Sarah! may not have the political clout to get her nominees elected POTUS, but I suspect she does have enough clout within the GOP core constituency to prevent someone she opposes from obtaining the GOP Party nomination for President. Which, ultimately, is the only thing Santorum is probably really concerned about.

Palin vs Santorum....never saw a better arguement for MAD in my life.

Why is that Rightards whine about others name calling, all while doing the exact same thing?

Santorum implied Palin is willing to dirch politics in favor of making money. Hardly a radical assertion given she left the governorship after only two years to do just that.

I think Palin is entirely correct in her insinuation. Santorum is a knuckle-dragging Neanderthal.

Which means he is in a position to do us all a favor and drag that horrible woman off the world stage by the hair.

It was pounded into peoples heads for weeks on Fux and the other rightard havens.
