Islam was created to counter economic exploitation, not to believe in God. Christians and Jews already believed in the same God, so that wasn't the point.

If anyone thinks they are being taken advantage of... by their employers or by the Govt... they might think about becoming Muslims and telling their bosses to shove it.

Perhaps this explains why Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world. It is also the one with the most converts.

It's also rather dualistic in how it tells one to treat one's brothers in religion, vs us infidels, or kafirs, if i understand it right. In my personal judgement, this alone renders it inferior to other religions, which I am no great fan of anyway, simply because most other religions at least tend to emphasize concern for all mankind, all of whom are our "brothers."

I will accept correction from a muslim who can better explain it - I regularly attack christian fundamentalists, but my own mother was one, and i've read the bible front to back many times over. I know how to attack it better than it's sheep can defend. Reading the holy books of islam will actually be one of my next personal projects. I want to get inside the heads of a force I think may soon be the dominant religion in the world. Politically, I do know it is very expansionist compared to virtually any belief system out there, and it's star is on the rise, while the christian world overall is moving into the post-christian era.
