"U.S. forces liberated the Buchenwald concentration camp near Weimar, Germany, on April 11, 1945, a few days after the Nazis began evacuating the camp. Yep the lend lease program started in '41 and we were sending supplies as early as '39. However we were neutral and were still doing business with Germany, some business continued (illegaly) through '43.
