When BP filed for the permit to lease this well they provided assurances they could contain it and/or clean it up. They lied. The proof is what we're seeing now. Where were the supertankers to surround the oil and suck it up as they did in the Arabian Gulf when they had a well blowout underwater? They weren't there in the Gulf. BP tried to mask the severity of the leak in both numbers and by the use of 'dispersants'.

The 'dispersant' they're using is only a PR ploy that's making matters worse by keeping the oil underwater instead of rising to the surface where it could stand a chance of being skimmed off. As it is now, that oil will likely go places it wouldn't have otherwise, and the toxicity of the dispersant guarantees the oil stays underwater and further poisons the Gulf of Mexico.

I find Glen Beck, and Limbaugh and many of their peers as embarrassments. Actually I find many of our Democrats and Republicans, etc. in Congress as embarrassments also. They all have one singular agenda, to work to manipulate the masses and create policy for the benefit of the elite while screwing the USA.
