Obama is the best President since Kennedy

CBS isn't too accurate compared to other polling agencies. Here's a link showing, by proven statistics, the most accurate by rank. Two were perfectly in agreement with the actual election result in 2008...

www.fordham.edu

Oh hell yes and BTW be sure and give a shout out to Joe Medicine Crow if you see him!

www.realclearpolitics.com

Avg has him down a bit from that too. I hope he can start doing better.

All lies.

If you exclude the Kenyan/Muslin/Black/Latino/ Woman/Pro-choice/Terrist surveyees, he's barely breaking into the single-digits.

Unfortunately i think it is because he was comical at the WH dinner recently and people are more approving now.

So much of America is based on entertainment, not objective truth. I am sure the president is no different.

"rimshot"

"So much of America is based on entertainment, not objective truth."

That must be why the RushBeckHannityWeiners are all "entertainers".

"Overall, 48% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the president's performance. Fifty-one percent (51%) disapprove."

"Tracking Poll for Tuesday shows that 30% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president. Forty percent (40%) Strongly Disapprove"

"Nationally, 38% of voters believe the new health care reform plan will be good for the country. For the fifth week in a row, 52% disagree and say the plan signed into law by the president will be bad for the country. Meanwhile, 54% at least somewhat favor repeal of the health care bill, while 39% oppose its repeal."

These are numbers from likely voters. More accurate in predicting future election results than the less accurate CBS polling org...

I hope his approval ratings are at 55% at re-election time because that would mean the economy is doing fantastic. We shall see.

If Obama stays above 40% I imagine he'll win reelection, if only because the Repubs don't have anyone charismatic or bright enough to beat someone with that kind of approval.

"Overall, 48% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the president's performance."

I'm in this group. The more Obama is on the golf course or at a party boozing it up the less he can destroy this country.

Now THAT is performance you can believe in!

Live-or-die, who was the Dem Pres candidate front runner in 2006? NEVER underestimate the ability of the Dem party to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory...

I do think the economy will only get better by 2012. I haven't been counting the chickens before they hatch and saying "Obama saved the economy" or any such bull shit because unemployment is still high, and we aren't anywhere near getting all of those lost jobs back, but by 2012 we could have a hell of a lot less unemployment and Obama will get the credit.

You didn't answer the question that was promoted by your post.

OK. When it gets down to 25%, piss your pants, DR Regressives. Until then, pull your big girl pants up.

And i suppose if he were taking three-month vacations, you would approve? Or is it that he can't play golf as badly as Bush that pisses you off?

You didn't answer the question that was promoted by your post.

Your question only proves my point even more. A relatively unknown in 2006, Obama came out and beat a fucking Clinton for the nomination. He can run a good campaign, and like I said, the Repubs don't have anyone bright or charismatic enough to beat him that is being considered. Maybe they'll pull a candidate out of their ass like the Dems did, but we'll see.

Unfortunately i think it is because he was comical at the WH dinner recently and people are more approving now.

He was climbing, even in Rasmussen before that. As the health care BS wears out, and the GOP continues to support Wall Street ove Main Street and the teabaggers continue their batshit crazy act, the Dems will move up again. Even RCP's generic average has them in a tie with the GOPPers.

Your question only proves my point even more.

Umm, no. Handle that amnesia. You pointed out that O can't be beat BECAUSE the GOP currently has no front runner. Well, the Dems front runner didn't win. An obscure candidate did. So, it wasn't YOUR point. God, some people...

It would be hard for Obama to do his silly "Hope and Change" routine in 2012, especially now that he admits that "government is us". He'll have to come up with a new schtick.

"Obama is the best President since Kennedy"

Are you on drugs? Seriously. Unquestionably the worst president in our history. At least so far.

"Obama is the best President since Kennedy"

Agreed.

It'll be hard fer the Rwers to top Bush fer Worst. POTUS. EVAR. but they do keep trying.

Be Well.

/K, really gone now.

Fuck, you're stupid. The obscure candidate ran one of the best campaigns in modern history, and that's who'll be running for reelection in 2012. The GOP will need another Reagan (i.e., very charismatic, flawless campaign) to beat him if he keeps a decent approval rating. If you can't see my obvious points that a third grader should be able to pick up on, you're a numb skull, plain and simple.

"another Reagan"

Great, another shitty actor who knows how to look greasy on TV.

Sorry folks, it's been downhill since Ike and I don't see a Marcus Aurelius waiting in the wings.

Good thing my kids are pushing middle age and haven't squandered the nest egg I gave them on the way out the door. Best I could do. They're educated, debt-free, productive and committed to leave more than they take.

Now I just sit out here on my hill and handload.
Today it was .45 Colt: 240 gr JHC on 21.6 gr WW296 with magnum primers. Not suitable for old single-action revolvers.

My .45 Colt is a Smith & Wesson Model 25.

yes, we all know how cbs operates on truth and fact.

Health Insurance takeover is a torpedo in the water, just like illegal immigration, and terrorism. Just sit back and enjoy your fake polls liberals while you can.

Come talk to us in November liberals. Your assclowns in congress are destined for a trouncing. I am sure after that you can tell us about Obamaturds approval ratings.

That's all it takes to run a great campaign.

Unquestionably the worst president in our history. At least so far.

FLAG: Poster's on Heavy Drugs

Bush could leave us in such horrible shape - budget, debt, two wars, our world standing, etc. - and this is the kind of comments you get from knee jerk right wingers.

Unbelievable. Absolutely unbelievable.

am i the only one not really trusting the actual numbers posted by the libtards. CBS News/New York Times poll.

sorry, but americanunity: its your warped libtard view that its Bush's fault, stop barking up that tree, but then again, now Jimmy Carter can say he is not the worst Pres. anymore, thats been taken over by Obama.

I posted the actual numbers based on likely voters. See my post earlier in thread.

I love the faux outrage by the Regressives. Wipe the spittle off your screen. Now, here's your juice boxes; Nap Time is coming.

Talk is cheap, November could not come soon enought for me.

A large part of his appeal was hope/change. He had had such a thin resume that he could be perceived however someone wanted. Many projected their hopes and dreams through him as some sort of savior or miracle worker... larger than life. Lofty stuff! HRC, however, had greater name recognition, but came with lots of baggage. It was "her turn" but Dems warmed to someone they could become passionate about.

In BHO, Dems could run a guy with a mostly blank slate.

Problem now is that BHO has a track record. Charisma alone only takes someone so far. It got him elected the first time. As Dubya said, "fool me once, er, fool me... er, won't get fooled again."

51 x 0 = 0.

That's why by August, his approval ratings were the lowest of ANY modern Pres by that point of the 1st term...

WHEW!!!

im just glad that polls dont mean shit..at least thats what we heard everytime his numbers went down...

Apparently AKF, they only mean something if you are a Dem who is unfortunate enough to have Oblabla campaign for you...

yeah and the same people who scream and spew when a rasmussion poll is posted...are the same ones who will say

"well..its the new york times and cbs" they are known to tell the truth"

well there WAS jason blair and others..and well...cbs did get caught LYING thier ass off on rather and bush stuff

BUT EXCEPT for that...they are ALWAYS right..

...Oblabla...

You misspelled the President's name there.

I'm assuming of course that you made an honest boo-boo typing too fast and really aren't just an immature retard trying to be clever or funny.

If you believe any poll put out by CBS, I have some property in Pripyat to sell you.

People not hating us is kind of important and Obama's worldwide popularity helps us. People who don't hate us buy our products! A political economist estimates that Obama's presidency has increased the value of the United States brand by 2 trillion dollars! Obama was recently named the world's most respected leader (No. 2 was Dai Lama), that increases America's prestigue.

It's not true!

WE ALL hate Oblabla so it can't be true!

Anyway polls suck.

I'll bet. If the economy continues to strengthen, it will throw a real wrench into the Right's circle jerk.

Check out the margin on this useless CBS poll for Obama's approval rating.

Put one helluva nice name to cross off the list!

These guys aren't stupid. They know internal polling and the upcoming political landscape. Better to leave on top vs risk a hard fought election and humiliating defeat.

His sitting in Pelosi's chair and calling the role during the Health Care Debate Final Vote in the Assembly sealed the deal.
