Good article, Tao.

Drug reps are almost always good looking and fun to be around. And they know how to spend money.

They used to have even larger expense accounts than they do now. I know a lot them who had superbowl tickets, Orange Bowl, World Series.. etc..

as well as local events...always had tickets.

they have cut back on that somewhat (at least where I live).

but the free lunches?? a constant in their world.

Free dinners are far more extravagant.

Really, really nice.

I'm surprised that they work though. You'd think that they'd always have the needs of the patient foremost in their minds. But I guess, for a lot of doctors, being able to say that they went to this high end restaurant or the other is part of the cache that made them become doctors in the first place.

"part of the cache"

Pun intended? Or no?

with T&A, that's how.

Ichiro,

I have often suspected that. I actualy once interviewed for a job as a drug rep. I went to a second interview and found out I was the only guy of 3 people left. The other two were just drop dead georgeous females. Heck I almost walked up to one of them and told her I would blow the interview if she blew me she was that fine.

Not sure which of the 2 chicks got the job but it sure wasn't me.
