Republican Party officials and Tea Party protest organizers Sunday blasted health care bill demonstrators who hurled racial and homophobic slurs at black and gay lawmakers at the Capitol Saturday. "It's disgraceful and the people in this movement won't tolerate it because that's not what we're about," said Amy Kremer, coordinator of the Tea Party Express.

"We're shocked, shocked, that this could happen!"

The best is when Rush Limbaugh calls Barney Frank the Banking Queen. That's some funny shit.

KKK denounces "racial slurs"

"were shocked that this could happen"

"That's some funny shit."

Yeah, right.

Shit being the operative word.

I'm glad that some Republican leaders denounced this behavior. They all should.

APOLOGIZE, my Ass, This is who the Fox-Republican Party is......This Propaganda machine would make the Third Reich proud!!!!

I'm glad that some Republican leaders denounced this behavior. They all should.

I imagine some are scared to offend their base by speaking up.

There goes Celisary again.

You libbies are funny. If you don't like gay slurs, quit acting so gay.

There goes Celisary again.

I was just wondering what happened to him on another thread. It looks like I can summon him by merely typing his name.

Let's see what this does... yrasilec!

We may even get a DR righty or two to condemn it now that the GOP has signaled that is OK to do so.

Oh! did my attack trained pit bull bite you?
Bad dog! Bad dog!

BS silver--the thread on this had no one endorsing these assholes.

What I've never been able to figure out is why the mere mention of Obama puts teabaggers' panties into full Autowad mode. They claim they want to take back America, and give this nation back to its people. Well, Obama was elected by more people than has been the case with any President in living memory, and he is working to favor the interests of ordinary Americans over health insurance companies, banks and corporations (efforts that have been imperfect, true, but they represent more momentum in the direction of citizens' interests than we've seen in quite some little time). It seems to me - based on what teabaggers say they want - that Obama ought to be a teabagger's hero, not a nemesis.

and he is working to favor the interests of ordinary Americans over health insurance companies, banks and corporations . . .

Hysterical flag. Were you in a coma during the big Goldman SachsAIGGMCitigroup bailouts? Two trillion dollars, borrowed from China, given to them, paid back by your kids.

Too funny. Keep believin'! Hope and change!

#14 What a duffas. Bush engineered the bailout. Obama was responsible for the stimulus package. Do you ever get anything right?

Did Obama vote NO on that deal?

So there is an apology--denouncement by the leaders of the MOB.

That thread has over 330 posts.

This one is up to 16...

Where are they?

"If you don't like gay slurs, quit acting so gay."

The 'phobe strikes again.

Between the racial and homosexual slurs and the mocking of the man at the rally with Parkinsons disease and the 11 year old kid whose mother died, I was beginning to think the Republicans weren't the party of no but the party of hate.

I'm glad that some Republican leaders denounced this behavior. They all should.

But they're back there whipping up the village idiots again. Then again, as Dorothy Gale says, there's no place like home.

If, and that's a big IF it happened, chances are better than 50-50 that it was a plant. This is a common liberal tactic.

I don't beleive it!!

APOLOGIZE, my Ass, This is who the Fox-Republican Party is......This Propaganda machine would make the Third Reich proud!!!!

Just polished off her 5th malt liquor tall.

Reaching for the 2nd pack of Kools for the day.

Using something as abstract as someones race/sexuality instead of a coherent and well thought out argument is always a weak move. Glad some are willing to speak out about it.

:Side bar:

Honest question but does anyone remeber any Democrat party leaders making any similiar decrys or statements when Micheal Steele had Oreos thrown at him durring his campaign?

re: "when Micheal Steele had Oreos thrown at him durring his campaign"

I have seen absolutely no evidence of that.

Or when cries of "racist" are leveled at those who oppose the politics of a person of color.

"I have seen absolutely no evidence of that.

We know. It's tough to see through the tiny windows of the room you live in in the basement of your parents' house.

"We are sorry the coons and fudge packers were insulted."

Repubs Denounce Racial, Gay Slurs

Good. It's more than 99% of Repubs on this site did. They spent all day attacking other posters instead of denouncing the actions of the morons who spit on and hurled racial and bigoted epitaphs at members of Congress.
