They would lose seats in Nevada (Reid), Colorado (Bennett), Arkansas (Lincoln), Pennsylvania (Specter), Indiana, Wisconsin (Feingold), Missouri (Carnahan), North Dakota, and Ohio. Tossup in California (Boxer).

People are waking up . . . .

This is the beauty of staggered election cycles. We can't get to this disgrace of a president for another three years. But we'll be able to take down a lot of the dumbassess who have paved the way for this disaster.

People are waking up . . . .

Sure little Jeffy.

But we'll be able to take down a lot of the dumbassess who have paved the way for this disaster.

Wasn't that already done when Obama got elected?

There are enough retards like JPW around to save the marginal seats. Maybe not enough to save Boxer and Feingold. Amazing, that.

Maybe the libbies are dying off. We could hope! Now there's some hope and change we can all get behind!

RIR has taken over the roll of tough talker in the absence of Jak Se Mao. One look at his picture lets you know that RIR is all talk because he isn't man enough to back up any of his hard words.

There are enough retards like JPW around to save the marginal seats. Maybe not enough to save Boxer and Feingold.

It's pretty funny hearing you call someone else a retard. It's like Douchemark calling someone else insane.

Maybe the libbies are dying off. We could hope! Now there's some hope and change we can all get behind!

Yeah, because a conservative only world would be oh so great.

Theocracy on demand.

Retarded Christians shouting about who's the better Christian.

Poor policy decisions based on the 'Will of God'.

It'd be perfectly acceptable to have a 'I've got mine, fuck everyone else' attitude.

Sounds great.

My sincere hope, as a Democrat, is that the November election will spell the end of the kook left dominance of the party. The conservative and moderate Democrats are the future. Bye-bye Babs Streidsand and Sean Penn!

Sounds great.

Imagine..a nation of personal responsibility...a concept foreign to liberals.

Imagine..a nation of personal responsibility

Yeah, I'm sure that's how it'd work out.

...a concept foreign to liberals.

Sure.

If you in any way honest you'd say '...a concept foreign to politicians.'

But you're not interested in being honest, are you?

BTW, what have you done that's so great, GreatAmerican?

Nothing special...just lived the American Dream - served my country, always worked for a living, paid my dues.....how about you?

Nothing special...just lived the American Dream - served my country, always worked for a living, paid my dues

Cool.

But wouldn't that make your handle averageamerican or nothingspecialamerican :)

.....how about you?

Same, absent military service.

But wouldn't that make your handle averageamerican or nothingspecialamerican :)

Maybe Greatness, like beauty, is in the eye of the beerholder.

A lot of people still think Obama's great.

For that matter, a lot of people think he's an American.

:)

A lot of people still think Obama's great.

Amazingly...

For that matter, a lot of people think he's an American.

There's a long list of words to describe those people.

None of them flattering and many of them dump worthy.

Maybe Greatness, like beauty, is in the eye of the beerholder.

Indeed.

A lot of people still think Obama's great.

Evidently...

I heard you the first time. And, yes, 22% of 300 million is still a lot of people.

I heard you the first time.

The first time was directed at you.

The second was to show that greatness is in the eye of the beholder and wasn't in response to you.

And, yes, 22% of 300 million is still a lot of people.

Where's this 22% number you keep throwing around come from?

And yes it is a lot of people. However, what exactly makes those 22% think Obama is great?

Ignorance.

I can't wait for Reid to GTFO.

If the elections were held today...

...a whole bunch of people would really be taken by surprise.

"...a whole bunch of people would really be taken by surprise."

Like they were in Va, NJ, and MA?

The elections are not today.

There is still time for the repubs to screw it up.

Ah, "Rasmussen polling". Carry on.

Rassmussen only polls the same 3 homeless guys for each poll. They have Babbler on speed-dial.

The elections are not today.
There is still time for the repubs to screw it up.

This Rasmussen "legitimizing" opposition through omission is precisely how Republicans can massage factual discontent without any one of them having to publicly be annoying or risk derision. Soft power.

As for Democrats - if they pass this health care reform without verifiably covering 30 million of the most needy people without coverage they will be handing the Presidency hopefully away from both parties. I can't lie and say that I'm whatsoever pleased by these results - 100% of Americans are not automatically covered by the most basic of health care, let alone the best. I've cautiously reconsidered and hope that they pass their efforts as the best legislation a fractured system could hope to have after such preposterous squandering and wasteful dis-engaging actions as the Republicans and spineless, pathetic excuses for public's interests the Democrats have displayed this entire process. I also pray that I'm wrong about their factual repercussions.

.....Rasmussen is to Polling........

.....as.....

.....Fox is to News......

They're the most accurate pollsters going back six election cycles.

I'm sure you're right, though. Dems gotta nuttin to worry bout.

>Same, absent military service.

Then it's not the same.

Thanks for your service, GreatAmerican.

Then it's not the same.

Yes, it is.

All the other things listed are also on my list. Except the service.

That means same, absent the service.

Point is, the election is not for a long time. Who really cares what the polls say today. Every single one of us here knows, based on mucho experience, that for better or worse what happens on Election Day will be far different than any numbers currently being bandied about. It has been pointed out on many occasions by other people, but almost every president who was reelected had low poll numbers after about a year or so in office.

A. It was Rasmussen polling, who has proven to be significantly, consistently leaning Republican in all polling...I'm sure just an amazing coincidence
B. The election isn't held today

There is still time for the repubs to screw it up.

They already started Muffy-they may have the hearts of the tea baggers for a day or two, but they're working overtime to piss off the sane. McCain's temper tantrum is really going to help with those who already blame the GOppers for not working with the Pres. Running an election on wedon't need no stinkin' policies is a winner too.
