Hoping to assuage progressive Democrats who remain disappointed with the content of the health care reform bill, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) committed on Friday to holding a separate vote on a public option in the coming months.

Give 'em hell, Harry!

(or just the truth, 'cause they think that's hell)

I can't wait for the mandatory physcials and the mandated diets. I'm the standard faa male passenger, 170 lbs and 5'10', I already get plenty of exercise and eat a fairly good diet. No BMI penalties for me.

Fatass liberals that think they're going to get something for nothing don't begin to comprehend the somethings they're going to get.

The list of places this healthcare takeover will take us far exceeds the congnitive ability of the average democrat voter. FAT, Dumb, and happy....for now, but not for long.

-I can't wait for the mandatory physcials and the mandated diets.

Naw. Wingers get mandatory water-boarding and automatic death panels, since they are so taken with such things.

No BMI penalties for me.

No muscle, either.

So there will be a brave vote in one chamber and a brave deem and pass in another chamber.

BOLD MOVE!

Screw that "public option" shit Harry! That's what got you in trouble in the first place.

How about a vote on full single-payer, Harry? That's what I think a majority really wanted. that's what you gas-bag politicos pussied out of!

WL, what I don't get is why didn't they just start with single payer and 'settle' for what they are desperately trying to pass now?

why don't that have an up-or-down vote on the constitution and be done with it?

Wonder how many dems would vote to keep it? Based on recent votes, probably none.

Wonder how many reps would vote to keep it? Based on the previous 8 years, not many more.

Why bother to vote? The Deemocrat Party can just go home and campaign, and say that it would have happened anyhow.

Why bother to vote?

Why vote when you can deem it to have been done!

What a joke. At least Reid knows whats right.

Rep. Alan Grayson already has 80 co-signers of a new bill to open Medicare to all. Good!

After searching my massive vault of useless information, I find that this is the only thing Harry Reid has ever done, in his whole life, that makes sense.

Maybe his family's brush with death slapped some sense into him.

Reid sed wot?

A separate vote on a public option?

Cool.

Hopefully it's a real vote and not just an empty gesture.

A lot of disappointed progressives would welcome a serious attempt to re-insert the public option back into the proceedings,

Be Well.

BUT WAIT

barry O says he isnt for a public option
..OOPS wait another min...I saw a clip where he said he WAS for the public option

NOPE...there is was again not long ago telling someone he was againts it.

OH shit,...nope there is ANOTHER clip of him wanting it and telling the crowd of UNION CROOKS AND GOONS and it will take a long time but he will get us there as president

so he was FOR it before he was against it but he really was for it too...?????????????

fuckin liar....
