In my hands I have the winning bracket. 100% correct. Don't even bother, other drudgies.

100% correct? If so, you could win millions of dollars.

Bet you don't have UTEP in the Sweet 16. Uh-OH!

Go 'Hawks!

And in his Dan Quayle moment wrote "Sycacuse" instead of Syracuse.

And if Kansas loses, remember...I't Bush's fault!

100% correct? If so, you could win millions of dollars.

I am more sure about the complete accuracy of my predictions than I have been sure about anything in my entire life.

It is nearly impossible that I will not get a game wrong, and this includes the final score of the championship game.

Of course, not telling us in advance guarantees that.

I could care less about Obama's bracket. How's that laser-like focus on jobs going, Mr. President?

Well, let's see....for starters:

Signing jobs bill tomorrow
7-800,000 jobs a month lost lat months of Bush down to 20,000
Another jobs bill in the works
2 million jobs saved or created so far via Stimulus bill

"2 million jobs saved or created so far via Stimulus bill"

We all know that the stimulus bill hasn't created anywhere near 2 million jobs. As for the jobs saved, that's impossible to measure. Nice retort. Too bad you can't back it up with any stats.

He has no clue on how to run the country. Instead, he's focused on trivial things such at the NCAA bracket. Obama will go down in history as the worst President ever.

"He has no clue on how to run the country. Instead, he's focused on trivial things such at the NCAA bracket."

Let me guess: When Bush was clearing brush, or on his daily bike-ride as the economy was melting down, you were silent, right?

"We all know that the stimulus bill hasn't created anywhere near 2 million jobs. As for the jobs saved, that's impossible to measure. Nice retort. Too bad you can't back it up with any stats"

Just to see how tethered you are to reality, what do you think the unemployment rate would be had there been no stimulus?

"We all know..."

You all don't even think. You spout whatever bullshit meme of the day.

Yesterday, some right wingers were touring a supposed New England Journal of Medicine survey of doctors that said the poll found "46% would leave medicine if HCR passed" (ph). That was a bullshit story. Just like 'death panels', 'government takeover', 'they're gonna take grandma's Medicare', 'blah blah blah blah'. Gullible. You're incredibly gullible time and again.

"Just to see how tethered you are to reality, what do you think the unemployment rate would be had there been no stimulus?"

What you ask is a little game. A better question would be long term what is more beneficial to the economy, and the unemployment number?

Adding government employees to the payroll, and their long term liabilities, or giving a tax holiday for every W-2 employee.

Reality, long term unemployment will be higher, because the type of jobs that are now being created. The net effect of the stimulus will be a an increase in the public sector liabilities now, till long into the future, from which private sector will be taxed. The net result is less people working in the private sector, to support the better paid public sector employees.

This will be the rule for the US, but not in the District of Columbia.

"A better question would be long term what is more beneficial to the economy, and the unemployment number? Adding government employees to the payroll, and their long term liabilities, or giving a tax holiday for every W-2 employee."

Are those goalposts heavy when you move them that far?

"What you ask is a little game."

No it's not. Not when you claim 2,000,000 jobs is bullshit, yet won't admit the unemployment rate would be several points higher without the stimulus. It's you refusing to address it, when someone who actually knows something about economics has called you on your bullshit.

AU can't even leave Bush off the NCAA picks by Obama thread.

Loser..;o)

"AU can't even leave Bush off the NCAA picks by Obama thread."

Murphy can't even read the poster's name.

Loser.

Had Obama not done the stimulus, most likely, the unemployment rate would have been higher. However, we'd probably be on our way to a full recovery by now. Obama's so-called stimulus has delayed the natural business cycle. In fact, I've heard some economists are now predicting that we're headed for another recession. It seems that the medicine offered by Obama is going to end up make us sicker.

" However, we'd probably be on our way to a full recovery by now."'W

WTF are you talking about? Have you ever taken (and passed) an economics class?

"Obama's so-called stimulus has delayed the natural business cycle."

And how did you react when Bush & Greenspan did the same after 9/11? Oh....right...you cheered.

"I've heard some economists are now predicting that we're headed for another recession."

Chalk me up as one more. All Obama could do to stave off how badly Bush fucked this economy is stave it off a little bit.

"It seems that the medicine offered by Obama is going to end up make us sicker."

Convenient, isn't it, to ignore the mortal blow inflicted by the prior administration? Easier to blame the doctor who can't save the patient instead of the guy who shot the patient a dozen times.

"Had Obama not done the stimulus, most likely, the unemployment rate would have been higher"

By how many points?

DANFORTH

Bush did 'Stimulus' as late as 2008. Not the first.

What did you spend your $300 on? BWAHAHAHAHAHA

Final Four = Duke, Syracuse, Kentucky and Kansas.

Finals = Kansas v. Kentucky.

Kansas wins.

Final game score total 207.

That was kinda fun! ^_^

TY, oh blog-pope!

Ha! Colbert did a funny piece last night on the rise in vasectomies prior to the March Madness weekend.

Apparently, there is a growing trend towards spikes in vasectomy procedures before the March Madness weekend, the super bowl, the World Series final and other couch potato holidays.

Guess that's why they call 'em 'Ball Games'

March Madness is here, and men across the country will spend this weekend lounging on the couch watching wall-to-wall basketball.

Doctors said for some men, the next several days will be all about basketball, brackets, and bags of frozen peas.

"That's the whole beauty of you being able to be off for the weekend," said Dr. Stephen Jones, a urologist at the Cleveland Clinic.

It seems some men have decided, if you're going to get it done anyway, this is the perfect time for a vasectomy.

It's a phenomenon that urologists like Jones have been noticing for several years now.

"Every time that we got to March Madness -- it's at least 50 percent more men than we'd had on the other weeks," said Jones.

He is a human being with personal interests outside of his job. He's no more focused on the NCAA brackets than your typical American who also manages to juggle leisure and work.

Danforth,

We all know that Obama inherited an economic disaster. Let's look at one of your oft-used metaphors: The car was already driven off the cliff and THEN you hand the wheel to him. OK. Well, if I were in that position I would attempt to affix a parachute to the rear-bumper and try and soften the blow. Instead, he threw a bunch of cans of gasoline in the trunk in order to maximize the explosion (Capntrade, lack-of-stimulus, this healthcare fiasco, sky-rocketing deficits, unsustainable debt, etc.)

He's done almost everything in his power to take a bad situation and make it worse. And THEN, all he does is bitch about the shitty set of circumstances he chose to take on.

Neither team will be in the championship game. While Kentucky is extremely talented, they will not make the final four.

Kansas over Kentucky is the first thing I've ever agreed with him on.

Final Four

Kansas
Pittsburgh
W.Virginia
Duke

Final
Kansas
W.Virginia

Winner
W.Virginia

Obama will go down in history as the worst President ever.

Not too fucking biased, are you?

BTW,

Franklin Pierce was pretty fucking bad.

Did they do brackets back then?

Huh? Oh.

#32 was a reply to #12.

I couldn't care less about College Basketball, but if Sen Bunning will be pissed that KY loses, then go Kansas!

Common, Sen. Bunning is ALWAYS pissed, regardless of who wins or loses, hehe
