Tiger Woods will return to golf on April 8 to play this year's Masters, he said in a statement. "The Masters is where I won my first major and I view this tournament with great respect," he said. "After a long and necessary time away from the game, I feel like I'm ready to start my season at Augusta. The major championships have always been a special focus in my career and, as a professional, I think Augusta is where I need to be, even though it's been a while since I last played." Since World War II, only Ben Hogan has started a golf season with this event and won it.

Best of luck Tiger.

"Where are all the white women at?"

I can hardly wait. I would rather watch curling.

Go get 'em, Tiger.

Be Well.

Are they being sponsored by Ashley Madison.com?

That's not that many holes, Tiger. You can do it.

He'll probably spend a lot of his time in the rough, but hey that's where he is most entertaining and plays his best.

Good!

I think the real problem is that parents are either unable or unwilling to be role models for their children and then want to crucify people like Tiger for being human and doing what thousands of men have done before him.

I seriously doubt that he got into golf to be a role model so let him play golf and teach your kids values instead letting tv do it.

It will be great to have him back. Going to be tough though cheering for his putt to drop in when you are sitting next to your wife.

In other news, Woods has announced that he's the master of his domain.

I've always wondered what goes on at sex re-hab clinics, I mean... does a buzzer go off when he gets a boner? Does he get shock therapy? Do they show him a naked photo of Hillary?

"I think the real problem is that parents are either unable or unwilling to be role models for their children and then want to crucify people like Tiger for being human and doing what thousands of men have done before him."

People talk about the role model crap but I doubt they mean it. I just think it is a bunch of false morality at work. He's rich and famous and gets too much credit for being a good at a game and now people have an excuse to knock him down a peg so they're taking it. No doubt some of the pundits wagging their fingers at him either are doing the same or would do the same if they could.

When he starts kicking ass again they same morons hail his "comeback" as if skipping a few tournaments over relationship problems is the same as coming back from a leg amputation or something.

Personally, I always thought he was boring as hell and didn't see the appeal at all. Now at least he's interesting.

Damn! I wish he was going to the TPC this year, that would be entertainment!

I think Tiger's been given more than a fair share ration of shit about his sex scandal. I mean, how many of you guys, if you had the talent and money that guy has, would be able to pass up the fine hoo-ha that gets thrown at him on a daily basis?

I mean, he's only human after all.

Best of luck Tiger, we forgive you.

The guy's a professional golfer.

If he DIDN'T return, THAT would be news.

The Master's crowd will be very polite, but elsewhere he's going to be fiercely taunted. He relished and promoted the Mr Clean image, which was all a scam. And he has a 'thin skin'. I don't think he's going to handle it well. We will see.

It will give new meaning to..."It's in the Hole"

Do they show him a naked photo of Hillary?
Possibly, but certainly one of Barbra Bush.

Or the Quaker Oats box.

I built a perfectly good crystal set with a Quaker Oats box in kindergarten, I'll have you know.

No truth to the rumor that if Tiger wins, they'll replace the green jacket with a blue dress.

Back in the mid-50's they were still trying to find the smart kids, instead of this insane no-child-left-behind shit of Bush's; Adopted like a leech by Teddy Kennedy.

"Quaker Oats box."

Ain't no such thing.

A rectangular parallelopiped is not a cylinder.

OTOH ...

I have avoided eating the damn things entirely.

While I'm at it on this thread:

A golf course is a waste of a perfectly good rifle range.

Sorry to hear about your wife, buddy.

It will be great if a half-dozen or so of his bimbos show up demanding to talk to him. Should get record ratings.

That's why he picked the Masters. Even TMZ won't be allowed in.

Good!

Then why idolize any athlete, hollywood freak, etc.?

He'll probably spend a lot of his time in the rough, but hey that's where he is most entertaining and plays his best.

Rough? most entertaining? plays his best?---golf or his extra-curricular activity?

Tiger's a great golfer and athlete; he's a lousy self-absorbed selfish human being.

whoop-dee-doo

Polite?---I'm going to the Master's this year---and you don't want me to uphold the DR's reputation?

"I'm going to the Master's this year"

Wow. First the Super Bowl, then the Final Four, now this. You must be quite the sport fan.

He relished and promoted the Mr Clean image, which was all a scam... #15 | Posted by DavetheWave

Did Tiger relish and promote the image? Or was it the media and sports industry (Nike, etc.) putting him up on a pedestal to make money. Like most athletes in his position, he supplemented his income with endorsements. The scam was gullible people believing in the "squeaky clean" farce after so many politicans, celebrities, athletes fail to meet these images. Strangely, Tiger has taken far more grief from the public than John Edwards, who is far more of a POS in my book. Probably a racial thing, black guy, white wife, etc..

im sorry but even as an avid golfer and Holder of TWO HOLE IN ONES certificates...
have I mentioned that before?????

when it comes to his comeback

who gives a shit?

GO PHIL....

I am sure he is completely "cured" now. After all it has been a whole month!

Tiger had to return to the Masters, Obama issued an executive order. Just like he did for closing Gitmo.
