Looks like this other thread got me beat by 5 minutes. I swear I didn't see it.

Dang. Let's try that again.

Godspeed little doodle.

That family has good genes. He and his brother were very handsome men their whole lives, and both have made it to very advanced ages. We should all be so lucky.

RIP--

He was a good egg.

I've got clearance Clarence.

Roger Roger.

What's your Vector Victor?

I always enjoyed Peter Graves as an actor.

His passing on usually means two more actors or famous folks are going to die soon -- always happens in 3's.

Chaos Theory

RIP Mr. Phelps.

This post will self destruct in five seconds.

He's off to that big Turkish prison in the sky...

I didn't know he was James Arness' brother until now.

THEM!

The Beginning of the End

Corey Haim
Peter Graves
?

Any bets?

I say Ernest Borgenine, but I hope not. I like him.

Abe Vigoda?

Damn, he survived the drive with Michael's men? You don't fuck with Tessio!

"I didn't know he was James Arness' brother until now."

Me neither! So I guess Peter changes his name and James didn't? And btw, thread poster, it's "Peter," not "Pete." I don't believe he was ever credited as Pete; it certainly wasn't how he was known (though he may well have been called that by his friends).

I enjoyed some of his work; I know nothing about him as a person.

The State Department has disavowed any knowledge of his actions.

Big FF for Letus and may I add "this blog will self-destruct in 5 minutes."

Any bets?

I'll make Elizabeth Taylor.

'Billy, ever watch movies about gladiators'?

that is; 'I'll take Elizabeth Taylor, not, I'll make Elizabeth Taylor.

Dennis Hopper &...

The buzzards at the Enquirer are starting to circle Burt Reynolds.

R.I.P. MR. Phelps.

I thought his role in "Airplane" was hilarious. Years later, it's pretty obvious. He shouldn't have had the fish for dinner.

My dad had people say he resembled Graves, mostly due to the hair style and color. Enjoyed the old Mission: Impossible shows. Same for Airplane.

One last Mission, Mr. Graves....

And what a cool adventure it must be ....

I guess he decided to accept the "mission"...

Oveur and out...

A big 0 to the MI filmmakers that turned Jim Phelps into an incomprehensible bad guy. He was really hurt by that.

With that killer voice, he supplied the narration on educational and National Geographic material.

RIP Mr. Graves.

Crisis

Yup, and he did a good job with 'em.

Joey, do you like movies about gladiators?

As a fan of both the old MI TV series and of course the classic "Airplane" movies Spud considers himself a fan of Peter Graves and is disheartened by the news of his death.

RIP Peter Graves.

And yeah a big FU to Tom Cruise fer besmirching the character he played in those flashy substance-free popcorn flicks he did.

Be Well.
