States may hold onto tax refunds for months

www.usatoday.com

I wonder if there are legal avenues people in those states can pursue to get their money.

Some people are of the school of thought that you should set things up so that at the end of the year you owe the government rather than they sending you a refund. Maybe they have a point. If states are going to start stealing money this way then more people will do their taxes differently.

Bitch.

Was that directed a me Ron_Kraoke? LOL!

Was that directed a me Ron_Kraoke?

a me?

What the fuck does that mean?

What the hell is a "Kraoke", Bitch?

Oh shit, Jacque got suspended. You know what means? A big whine-alog from you know who.

Null--where is that shown on the DR?

CA did it first--so goes the rest of the country...

IRS visits Sacramento carwash in pursuit of 4 cents

www.sacbee.com

How much money did they spend in pursuit of these 4 cents? How much of a carbon foot print did they make to get the 4 cents (and given the price of carbon credits, how mush would they have to pay to offset it?)

If California expects a bailout then I hope they are treated like the Germans are treating Greece, in other words you guys need a severe austerity plan, the kind that causes riots in the streets. Anything short of that and I would say, let them fail.

Not true Muffy. Most states don't have a governor who mangles the English language.

Prop 13 is the only thing that unfortunately didn't cath on in the rest of the country. I wish we had prop 13 everywhere.

CALLCONGRESSNOW.com

for all your bribe and kickback needs.

call yours today to tell him or her WHATEVER you want.....as long as its to stop obamacare...(ha ha)

...speaking of mangling the english language it's aflacababbles.

How's the library stalking gig going?

"IRS visits Sacramento carwash in pursuit of 4 cents"

"Arriving at Harv's Metro Car Wash in midtown Wednesday afternoon were two dark-suited IRS agents demanding payment of delinquent taxes. "They were deadly serious, very aggressive, very condescending," says Harv's owner, Aaron Zeff.

The really odd part of this: The letter that was hand-delivered to Zeff's on-site manager showed the amount of money owed to the feds was ... 4 cents.

Inexplicably, penalties and taxes accruing on the debt stemming from the 2006 tax year were listed as $202.31, leaving Harv's with an obligation of $202.35."

They will do a better job with health care!

well jer..
its a little slow at the moment...not enough young school girls or little old rich ladies in today.
but thats okay..I will join my GOP gang and stop at each corner and beat the shit out of the guys standing there and take thier three or four bucks..
then we make a circle and head towards this old folks place where we might intercept some old people and steal thier SS checks...
and the front of the 99 cent store is a great place to trip all the old ladies who have walkers
and there are SOME little kids in the neighborhood here that we can trip and break thier arms while we keep them from the ER..

OOOPS forgot...have to get my white robes out of the cleaners and stop by the lumber yard...the manager there is keeping some good lumber for us to use tonight.

on the jack cafferty segment, he read letters on health care issues and there were many more letters against it than for it.
and this from cnn and by a corespondent who delights in liberal lies and bullshit...

out of 7 letters I believe the count was...only 2 were pro obamacare on the particular subject he was talking about...

even I WAS AMAZED....

Economy Kept On Life Support While Global Governance Is Organized
By Giordano Bruno

Neithercorp Press - 03/10/2010

Winter is slowly melting away here in the U.S., and Spring will soon be upon us. Wall Street is currently flush with delight at the year long run of the stock market (driven by fiat bailouts), which at first glance appears to be doing quite well, though international incidences such as those in Dubai and Greece have revealed how shaky the market actually is in the face of any unhealthy news. In the meantime, the dollar, recently on the edge of detrimental value loss, has made a semi-miraculous recovery in the span of a few months, especially as the Euro suffers. Official employment numbers, despite the continuous loss of jobs monthly, have somehow fallen and are for the moment stabilized. Is it time for America to dust off the old credit cards and return to the wild and rollicking carefree spending days of pre-2007? Perhaps not

While the mainstream media puts on the recovery song and dance, the fundamental problems of the collapse remain the same, and in some cases are growing ever more precarious. Subsections of the public, unaware of the real issues at hand, are holding a misguided jubilee in the tranquil eye of a hurricane, wrongly assuming that the storm has passed.
