Almost every home, office, school, library and hospital was supposed to be knit together through superfast broadband connections. Now, nearly two decades later, where is the information superhighway, what is the status of fiber deployment?

The Information Superhighway remains a fantasy, a con man's come on. AT&T controls telecommunications in 22 states and yet, as of year-end 2010, it has deployed fiber to only 2.1 million households, less than 2% of our households. They took the money and ran. Where have we seen this before?

Yeah, sometimes you've got to be smart about it.

I remember when Fatso (I think his name was actually Ratso) got 14 dumps. He typed a bunch of 1-line offensive comments but put them out as individual posts. If he'd have typed them all into 1 post he only would have gotten 1 dump.

The agenda in the "reporting" was so transparent, I was embarassed for the producers.

The "objective" arbiters of truth were using their airtime, camoflagued as a legitimate human interest story, to do an infomercial to help their young, black President get his piece of shit, despised bill passed by appealing to the emotion of their viewers.

Orwellian stuff.
