Some Philadelphia pubs and bars are frustrated with the prohibition, yes the prohibition of the past. Archaic beer laws that have led to unnecessary, time consuming, and disruptive raids have the Philadelphia bar owners brewing a dark lager when it comes to proper enforcement of improperly understood laws.

Another example of a silly beer law is, the law that forbids showing anyone actually drinking beer, in a beer commercial.

You can watch a television show, in which the actors drink beer on camera, but as soon as they go to a commercial for beer, they can't show anyone drinking it.

Yup, that's a dumb one all right.

Beer is our friend!

Spud luffs dumb archaic laws involving beverages.

Here's a dumb water law.

Colorado Water laws prohibit the use of rain barrels or any methods to catch rain for use. They claim the rain has already been legally allocated to the state and individual may not capture and use water to which he/she does not have a right.

Be Well.

I just find this interesting in that they are willing to enforce beer laws, but we as a nation are not willing to enforce things that harm more people like speeding laws, ethics laws for congress, senate and the White House etc.

I think we are a little backwards here.

A little backwards? Try telling German Baptists they shouldn't have beer with practically every meal!
