Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

"It's lunacy", exclaimed the devil worshipper Colin Hades-Smith. "Every where you go, you see people wearing crosses and burkas and wotnot, but I'm not allowed to come in to work wearing my Beelzebub horns, and I'm told to leave my trident at home. Everyone else is allowed to parade their religion and wear it on their sleeve metaphorically and just because I worship the Dark Lord, I'm being penalised.", our religion is just an offshoot of Judaism, which is all made-up anyway, well I thought what have I been doing with my life?"

Interesting, however his assertion that it is an offshoot of Judaism is kind of false.

Judaism never had the concept that Satan or the Devil was a grotesque creature with horns and a trident, that is common day misunderstanding and false interpretation.

The devil is the adversary, not necessarily disgusting, not deformed, not with horns, not read, not with tail and trident, rather just in opposition.

Who knows, it might have just been the inversion of God, like a polar opposite in the original conception, it might have just been an attitude, a mindset, or a choice.

In Christianity Satan or the Devil is thought to be a fallen angel, the former head of the angels with great power. He is not every told to be grotesque with horns and tail and red with trident.

I think this man has a false conception of his own believes if he is believing in a devil worship that is an offshoot of Judaism.

Surely he is free to worship opposition in work, and he can say things that oppose others in work, and he can thwart everything people say or try to do, but the horns, they are no real limitation because of his believes, because they are not part of his beliefs. They are a limitation because they might be a safety hazard, they do not look professional, etc.

I think it is outrage over nothing. Even if it is Onion outrage.

The story is told of a man preaching on Speakers' Corner in Hyde Park in London, England, who in his sermon said that anyone who didn't believe in God was a fool. A man in the crowd of listeners shouted out, "I'm an atheist. If you can't prove that I'm a fool, I'll publish it in the papers and we'll run you out of town!"

"You really don't believe in God?"

"You bet I don't! I've been fighting against God all my life!"

"Tell me," replied the preacher, "if a man who spends his life fighting against someone who doesn't exist isn't a fool, then who is?"

Well Nanc, if they are not a fool they could be you and I, because if you believe that story, we do the same thing, and there are no atheists and yet we still fight against them...

Goes both ways. Looks like the whole world is foolish...

Someone said that once...

...and while we're at it, why not allow me to bring my temple prostitute of Ba'al to work, where I can frack her at coffee breaks in front of the water cooler?

This isn't about freedom of religion. This is about in-your-face behavior, on par with those possessing the *gay* gene do every day!

This isn't about freedom of religion. This is about in-your-face behavior

You, as a christian supremacist, should know a thing or two about "in-your-face" behavior. Self-absorbed shits like yourself are always shoving their preferred blend of batfuck insanity in the faces of everyone around them.

By the way, Sabbatai, this thread is a joke that flew right over your head (like many things, I imagine).

Sabbatai stung by the Onion?

The "daily shame" is like "the onion".
