Irony?
Hypocrisy, more like. Canadian health care was good enough for her family, but other American families would be Socialists if they had similar access?
uh-huh.

As someone pointed out on the other Palin thread, socialized medicine in Canada started in 1972. As I stated, Palin was born in 1964 and nobody knows if that was the closest facility or why they chose to go Canada. But the fact people want to call her a hypocrite from a story when she was 4-5 years old, just wreaks of desperation to criticize her.

She is self-retorting. To laugh about how ironic it is that she herself used Canadian care while she now lambastes any attempt to allow Americans similar services is prolly more vacuous than anything else.

Okay, crispee, how about 2010, when SARAH!!'s son Trunk is getting treatment under socialist/communist medicine?

Hmm, she illegally immigrated into a foreign country to take advantage of a tax supported system she didn't pay for. What is her position on Mexicans coming here? I bet she is a hypocrite.

...isn't that kind of ironic now...

This is all the more interesting since she told essentially the same story (brother burned foot, childhood injury, Mother took him to hospital, etc...) to another audience in 2007 only this time she said they went by ferry to Juneau. palingates.blogspot.com
Seems the moosefart really is just another lying piece of Republican Base.
No wonder the teabaggers love her so much!!!

That is a hell of a lot more valid and probably warranted, than calling her a hypocrite for something that happened 40 years ago when she was around 4-5.

Do you mean like the canadian gov official that came to the US for his heart surgery? You really need to see both sides of the hypocricy ace.

"health care tourism" travels both ways. I don't remember the canadian spouting on about trying to avoid social medicine death panels.

Oh, good. Another Palin thread. So as a young child, her family taking her injured brother to a hospital in Canada is now "hypocrisy" because she wants to deny her fellow Americans the same opportunity. I see.
A few more of these and we can forget that Obama's "strongly approve" rating is 22%.
Wow, are liberals stupid.

If you vote for her she promises not to stop anyone from going to Canada for free healthcare.
