I'm guessing that marjorie louis has better things to do than read drudge to tell her the "real side" of things. i'm sure she doesn't even have access to the internet.

i was on break in january so i went down there and tried to help. it was an eye opener cuz i realized that i clouldn't do very much except put up tents. then i got on a plane and came back and got drunk in my frat's garage. i woke up in a puddle of puke just like always but the experience did change me.

Funny how you posted the exact same thing by a citizen when it was first mentioned the US would occupy.

So, if the citizens are ok with it, then why not just stay indefinitely, right rcade?

It would be comical if it wasn't so sad; waiting to see how many in the media and countries around the world spin everything to be America's fault (pardon the pun) in one way or another. Wars, earthquakes, other "acts of God", meteors, ANYTHING. Just give it about twelve hours and they'll offer a reason we made it happen.
Then, when we help, often more than any other country on the planet, we did it too slow, didn't give enough, tried to take over the country, whatever.
I think every crate of our aid to these countries should have big, bright, American flag on them. That would have sent a good message to the survivors in Indonesia after the Tsunami. They are the most populated Muslim country in the world. All of those crates of hope and charity with the American flag on them could have helped bridge the gap of ignorance that we hate each other. Oh, wait, did we cause the Tsunami and then help 'a tad'?
