See, it's not just that mankind is spewing thousands of tons of carbon into the atmosphere annually. That's just one side of the equation.

On the other side of the equation there's the loss of biodiversity including old growth forests.

The notion, mostly floated by developers and forestry companies with an agendized axe to grind, that old growth is carbon neutral has proven to be a lie, btw.

Zero. The 110 studies were all completed after the IPCC report and covered new research. They weren't rehashing other studies.

The only way to prove that man-made global warming on earth is happening is to compare with a similar nerby world such as Mars and see if that world is warming and Mars is warming without any help from humans or Martians.

While it is true that planting new trees helps absorb CO2, cutting down old growth reduces the natural carbon sink far more then new growth adds for at least 50 years or more. When the cut wood decays, is burned, or is turned into other products, there is a net increase in CO2 both in the form of direct gasses and indirect CO2 from processing machinery. I realize it is difficult for people like sniper to understand, but he is a lost cause anyway. It is now up the the younger people to understand the truth and the science. Worthless old folks without a clue is what caused the problems in the first place.

Mar's climate is driven primarily by dust and albedo, not solar variation. Also the evidence isn't conclusive on whether global warming is actually happening on mars. There are many papers on solar variation and earth's climate and they concluded that the correlation between sun and climate ended in the 1970's when the modern global warming trend began.

Lefties claim to believe in science until science quiys agreeing with their global warming agenda. Climategate proved that. But libs are attached to their agenda as firmly as a baby is to a pair of mammary glands.
