It is a fact that Bedell shot two cops at the Pentagon. It is a fact that he believed 9/11 was an inside job. Why is it inappropriate to mention both of these facts together? If he had shot the cops after writing an anti-Iraq War manifesto, this would have been prominent in the coverage.

It is not. Nor is it inappropriate to inlcude the fact his parents had warned authorities. Not saying it was enough to know his intentions, but I am curious if it fell on deaf ears.
