Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

Tonight, Barack Obama will host ten House Democrats who voted against the health care bill in November at the White House; he's obviously trying to persuade them to switch their votes to yes. One of the ten is Jim Matheson of Utah. The White House just sent out a press release announcing that today President Obama nominated Matheson's brother Scott M. Matheson, Jr. to the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.

This is so typical of this administration's Chicago back-room thuggery deal-making. Hey, Obama, what can you do for me?!?! Buying votes is NOT the will of the people. This is sad, man.

I am SHOCKED that a politician would use politics to achieve his agenda.

Just not shocked enough to care when the fucker lies and breaks every promise he made to you. I'm not SHOCKED to find out that you just take and accept it.

How's Obama doing on fiscal responsibility?

you just take and accept it

Bullshit.

Obama has been a profound disappointment to me and I have said as much before.

However, this ain't my first rodeo and I recognize a "concern troll" when I see one.

LOL at this thread.

You're pretty much saying "You're guy is as big of a fucking crook as ours was, HAHA!"

"Just not shocked enough to care when the fucker lies and breaks every promise he made to you."

Sometimes you have to consider he is the Obamateur-in-Chief and can't really call him a liar when promises like the Bush executive orders, Gitmo closing, Iraq withdrawal, repealing don't ask don't tell etc. aren't fulfilled. Pretty much chalk it up to all that experience he had before being elected.

A bit tougher that being a "community organizer" huh spanky?

The bullshit in McCormack's factoidal article and Bachmann's baseless claims exposed:

BACHMANNN PEDDLES FALSE RIGHT-WING RUMOR ACCUSING OBAMA OF SELLNG JUDGESHIP TO WIN HEALH CARE VOTES
thinkprogress.org

The piece concludes:

This isn't the first time the Weekly Standard manufactured false quid-pro-quo stories about health reform. In December, Michael Goldfarb floated a baseless rumor that the White House threatened to close an Air Force base in Nebraska if Sen. Ben Nelson (D-NE) didn't vote for health care reform. Nelson derided the Weekly Standard as "yellow journalism at its worst." Indeed, it still is.

And from the "Facts? We don' need no steenkin' facts" department:

Beck Touts Conspiracy Theory That Obama Is Buyig Health Care Vote By Sellng Judgeship

Forget this silliness about putting Ronald Reagan's mug on the US $50 bill. Far more appropriate to replace the GOP's elephant logo with a likeness of Josef Goebbels.

"Far more appropriate to replace the GOP's elephant logo with a likeness of Josef Goebbels."

Before we do that, Doc, we have to appropiate the funds to put the Great, Glorious Organizer's likeness on Mount Rushmore. I've been saving my pennies to donate for that cause.
