Fucking progressives, protecting animals at the expense of human rights. Obama is supposedly this great Constitutional Scholar but it seems to me his professors gave him good grades because of his race only not because he knows the Constitution.

I think one of the things I respect least about the level of political discourse in this country is the degree to which participants butcher the language. The rightists' acceptance of Glennnn Beck's Looney Toons interpretation of the historically valid terms "progressives" and "progressivism" is a case in point.

So Doc, you agree then that protecting animals is more important than protecting the individual and private property rights of humans? Governments were put in place to protect individual rights of humans, not animals.

No. Senator DeMint is misleading you. This is land preservation. Public land for Americans, protected from development. Should "socialist" national parks be given to oil and mining companies? Sometimes clean air and water can be a good thing.
