Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

"CHICAGO CBN Founder Pat Roberson, boasting his divine stature, on Sunday predicted trouble ahead for the next white presidential candidate and urges them to do more to improve the lives of whites and the privileged.

The 76-year-old leader said the "black left" was conspiring to make any white candidate may not stand a chance against this one-term president, and pointed to his stalled efforts to introduce health care legislation as proof. He said those opponents and lobbyists were trapping him into a future war with Iran that could lead to mass destruction.

"The word 'prophet' is too cheap a word. I am a light in the midst of darkness," Roberson said at the annual convention of the movement that embraces white nationalism. "It ain't ego, it's my love for you.""

That's offensive.

Yet somehow, unlike Pat Robertson, Farrakhan doesn't have a TV show that's embraced by millions or get invited to the White House, or is taken seriously at all by a large portion of the US.

Basically, your analogy is crap.

Yeah, the Muslim Brotherhood has no influence whatsoever on anybody, eh tfd?:

en.wikipedia.org

My analogy is perfect for the occasion.

white people = bad
black people = good

Poor form, Nanc.

#6 - not necessarily true, H.C. - while I respect your opinion, you know if this were Robertson spewing the same things Faraconartist does on a regular basis, he'd be top-front-page as usual. WAIT! He DOES get top-front-page EVERY SINGLE TIME!

Back to square one.

white people = bad
black people = good

Wow. Thanks for reminding me what a prick Robertson is.

No. What Robertson is doing is playing on the racist fears of white America. It should come as no surprise that the black left will be supportive of the first black President in history. Especially from attacks from the right.

They have always been out of reach to the average GOP candidate. But as for the Democrats, nobody is going to run against him, and that's got nothing to do with the color of his skin.

And I'm taking your assessment as legitimate, that Robertson is more mainstream than Farrakhan.

Pat Robertson is old and will enter the kingdom of hell upon his death. Maybe God will cut Nanc some slack because her intellect is so low.

H.C. - as long as those of Faraconartist's ilk keep such notions alive...

FTA: Farrakhan spent most of the fiery nearly four-hour speech recounting a 1985 vision he had in Mexico. Farrakhan has often described how he believes he was invited aboard an unidentified flying object he calls "the wheel" where he said he heard the late Nation of Islam leader Elijah Muhammad speak to him.

Wotta screwball.

Both Phat-head Robertson and Louis Far-a-gone are brain-dead wing nuts who exploit religion fer personal gain.

Spud gets that Nanc made a real effort here to try and make an apt analogy and applauds that effort even if it didn't really werk out.

Pointing to one crazy religious leader with an enormous ego by flipping the meme so that it looks like another crazy religious leader with an enormous ego did the same thing in reverse is a sketchy stratagery.

To folk like Spud one religious idiot is as bad as the next.

Glass houses and all that.

Be Well.

i'm hungry.

Go fuck yourself, nanc.

It is also offensive to parrot blatantly false hit pieces concocted by Batshit Pat and likeminded cockroaches at CBN. You realize that the Army said there was no truth in this alleged "poison plot," right?

Why the fuck do you or anyone else think that these bible-thumping lunatics have any credibility? Time and again, these maggots prove themselves to be dishonest hatemongers and two-bit political hacks. They contribute nothing to this country beyond a generous helping of paranoid babble. Unfortunately, there are a great many people who lack the commmon fucking sense to see through it.

That's offensive.

As are you.

Zombie - did you read the article? It's about Louis Farrakhan, not Pat Robertson - he was playing the race card, as usual. Sure racism is alive and well, but not because of people like Robertson. It's alive because nobody calls people like Louis on the carpet.

If poor wittle bambam isn't reelected, it won't be because of his being half white!

Both scum in my book.

racism is alive and well, but not because of people like Robertson

Robertson spews a different flavor of hate, but it's hate nonetheless. The species has no use for him and his ilk.
