Bunning Flips the Bird

Sen. Jim Bunning (R-KY) refused to answer questions from ABC News about his decision to filibuster a bill extending unemployment benefits.

Said Bunning: "I'm not talking to anybody."

When producers asked him to stay and talk on camera, Bunning "walked toward the elevator and shot the middle finger over his head."

A video clip shows Bunning kicking correspondent Jon Karl off the elevator, yelling "Excuse me! This is a Senator's only elevator!"

However, part and parcel with the senate health-care bill is a 21% reduction in the rate of compensation for providers - this of course when Medicare already reimburses at a loss.

It's just one of the many smoke-and-mirrors the Dems employed to make their 10-year projection deficit-neutral - it will NEVER make it into a final legislative product. It can'y...it's economically-impossible and is precisely the reason that when at the summit, Obama was all about numbers until Paul Ryan dissected his numbers and then he didn't want to be bothered with being bogged-down.

I just read the article. The 21% cut is because of Bunning's antics.

BTW, the only cuts in Medicare in the HCR bill are to Medicare Advantage - the GOP's semiprivate answer to Medicare. The private insurers who administer the program have been overcharging the taxpayers by 13% or more.

First off, fuck him... fuck him right in the ear.

Second, why was there a 21% cut to doctors scheduled in the first place?

Doctors as a whole need to switch to cash only. Let's see you fuckers take them for granted when you have to either throw down your visa or watch your kids busted leg fix itself.

Not only that--there are a whole lot of Chinese and Saudi bond brokers who were looking to lend another $10 billion to the spendthrift United States. Now--they have to wait until Friday to cash their commission checks.

That Bunning is a bastard! Who does he think he is, to want to pay for the funding with, say, Obama's TARP slush fund?

By the way, I love it when libbies want to take this crotchety old fart to task for saying "this is a Senator's-only elevator", but try to explain away Queen Nancy's private Air Force, and her $100,000 bills for munchies and booze.

On or about 12 Feb obama signed 'pay-go'. All Bunning wants it for the administration to live up to their own bill.
