I alwasys say that human stupid has no limits. If human bullshit could be harnesed as a sourced of energy, even if the energy transfer was inneficient, we solve all our energy problems in a day. Heck, with all the bullshit coming grom D.C. and that State Capitals we could end our dependenace on foreign oil.

Many of the older wastewater treatment plants draw the methane of their anaerobic digesters. It's filtered and burned in the generators that run the aeration blowers in other parts of the plant. They don't do it much anymore because of the danger of explosions. Now they just fire it off in a controlled burn.

Great idea - they're trying it here at turkey and chicken barns. Quite odiferous however...kind of like being outside a senate session...
