Government Jobs. New Department of Health Insurance jobs.

Government Jobs. New Department of Health Insurance jobs.

That is what I would have assumed but I thought Pelosi referred to "entreprenurial" jobs being created.

will have to have more jobs for everyone to pay for the massive tax increases that people of ALL INCOMEs will have to pay.

LOL!

Are the 4 million health care jobs coming before or after the 5 million green jobs Obama promised?

It is after all the jobs lil bushs tax cuts created.

It is after all the jobs lil bushs tax cuts created.

If you're going to make deflections, at least try not to remind us how similar Obama and Bush are in their promises and failures to keep them re. job creation.

It is after all the jobs lil bushs tax cuts created.

right - 9/11 had no effect on the economy what so ever. What would have happened with out the tax cuts and 9/11.

7+2+6=0

Maybe she will give those jobs to these 500 million Americans

That fits with this:

"4th Quarter GDP Is Revised Up To 5.9%"

The key point:

" increased at an annual rate of 5.9 percent in the fourth quarter of 2009 (that is, from the third quarter to the fourth quarter)"

Now for the math:

"Motor vehicle output added 0.44 percent
the price index for gross domestic purchases increased 1.3 percent
Real personal consumption expenditures increased 1.7 percent
Real nonresidential fixed investment increased 6.5 percent
Nonresidential structures decreased 13.9 percent
Equipment and software increased 18.2 percent [read government jobs]
Real exports of goods and services increased 22.4 percent [mostly services]
National defense decreased 3.5 percent
Nondefense increased 8.3 percent"

Government not counting defense increased by 8.3% the 4th quarter. You gotta just love Obama's new math. All that bad news coupled with the increase of government = good news.

Creating government jobs from the private sector jobs they destory. It's the plan.

Let's say Pelosi is correct and health reform(sic) does in fact add 400k jobs to the economy. That's another taxpayer expense!!!

Let's make a rough estimate. At 50K per job, that's a bill of $20 billion. Where will the money come from? Why they'll borrow or print it. It's easy when you can make as much money as you want. Oh yeah. The cost of 4 million jobs is $20 trillion, ten times federal tax receipts.

The voters in here district must be some combination of brain dead and corrupt.

Or they can just raise taxes on greedy assholes.

perfect analogy on bulls and bears this AM
one said..this is like bringout back the draft and then taking credit for it as a jobs program..
its fine for those people but most of them would be working in private sector anyway and then WHO"S gonna give the money for thier check?

OH I KNOW

the american taxpayer

ohjackass...
do we have to remind you what percentage those greedy assholes are already paying...

and all they have to do is take it overseas and tell you to go to hell....

This woman is insane!

Didn't they claim the stimulus stuff would create jobs...and ultimately didn't?

The previously uttered assurances that have ultimately failed have eroded what little confidence I had in our govt being able to do more than provide media sound bytes.

Nice jugs but a royal butter face. Looks like she's been eating too much corn of someone elses shit for so long its puckered up.

Loh

14.8 million unemployed
3.8 million want a job but are not considered unemployed because they have not looked in the past four weeks
8.3 million have a part-time job, but want a full time job

Total that up and you will see there are 26.9 million people who are unemployed or underemployed.

Of the unemployed, 6.3 million have been out of work 27 weeks or longer. The average duration of unemployment is 30.2 weeks.
