Here is an editorial opposing this idea:

I also don't think it's necessary even if the state could afford it. And even if someone convinced me it was necessary, I get the feeling this database would be as abused as the sex offenders' database.

It seems to me this animal cruelty database could be an effort to further infringe on peopple's private property rights. If you get rid of a pest that is eating up your garden for example, you could wind up on some dumb list because stupid progressives believe animals have more rights than people.

Wonder why they don't concentrate on fixing their budget problems, instead of trying to expand their powers?

Typical Rtards,

Always taking the side of domestic terrorists, rapists, and now animal fuckers.

Why to Republicans and Teabaggers hate Everyone except White Male Billionaires?

Dean Florez is a moron. Almost everything he proposes is moronic. It's no wonder CA is fucked. Not that I dislike animals. I eat them daily.

Must be an election year.

When isn't it an election year? lol

Axe - The Republican party doesn't have a contingent of people that think sexual offenders can be rehabilitated.

This list for animal abusers is a very poor idea. The one for sex offenders seemed more rational to me until I learned that, in Texas, if you're caught urinating outside, on the list you go.

if you're caught urinating outside, on the list you go.

That sucks man. That marks you for life. Bummer.
