Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

A lawyer for a group of international peace activists urged the US Supreme Court on Tuesday to strike down a portion of an antiterror law that he says threatens to send his clients to prison for urging terror groups to explore nonviolent solutions. The case, Holder v. Humanitarian Law Project, exists at a crossroads between efforts to protect US national security by isolating certain designated terrorist groups and long-established American protections of the rights of free speech and association.

The Supreme Court of the United States is a terrorist organization, beholden to parties whom wish to squash freedom and liberty.
The fact that their actions are criminally subversive to the constitution doesnt bother them, as they enact illegal authority to adorn themselves, and the rest of the lying class with the accoutrements of royalty.

Thugs and proxy mass murderers, seditionist, subversive scum.

" protections of the rights of free speech and association"

Bah. Everyone knows the only rghts the Constitution protects are guns and religion.

Why is it every left wing kook who believes in socialism is called a "peace activist" or a "human rights activist?" They are totalitarians.

Hmm... did you ever stop to think that these people have dedicated their lives to bringing peace to war-torn regions? I doubt it. Stopping to think is obviously not something you do very frequently. Only a disgusting piece of shit like you would consture humanitarian activism as "totalitarian".

It's not exactly surprising, though. Your worldview is miles from reality, not unlike that of other conservative religious fanatics. A piece of advice. Keep to what you know. In your case, that seems to be sticking your foot in your mouth at every given opportunity.

I hope this one gets struck down. Probably should.

If for any reason the GOP is labeled a terrorist organization by the DOJ, all GOPers can be tossed in jail for up to 15 years. There is nothing in the present statute allowing the organization's designation as a terrorist organization to be challenged.

Like with everyone in Gitmo, if the org or the person is labeled a terrorist, they lose their right to a trial. Without the right to a trial, they can't prove they aren't a terrorist. And since they can't prove they aren't a terrorist, they must be terrorists. Then we can call them terrorists and take away right to a ...this is getting circular.

SCOTUS WHORES to the Rescue???

The US Supreme Court "2 Bit Whores" just "Aided & Abeted" Corporate America (yet again) in another one of their Treasonous,Democracy Killing rulings! Seeing that Corporate America is making $Trillions off of phony Terrorism including the Patriot Act,Homeland Security etc.,then the SCOTUS "Whores" are the last group you would want to go to to protect your "Democratic" rights!!!

Keep to what you know. In your case, that seems to be sticking your foot in your mouth at every given opportunity.

I think even that's an accident.

How, exactly, can an outsider determine WHAT type of aid is being given to the terrorist? His clients "want to provide advice about nonviolent political strategies". When does 'advice' become 'assistance'?

You may claim you were only telling him how to remove that stubborn tree stump from his yard, so he cold produce more food... but teaching him the best mix of fertilizer and fuel oil to use to make a bomb that could level a building (such as the one in OKC) is the exact same procedure.

Do we just have to take the word of the terrorist and terrorist supporters that they did nothing wrong?

Gee, if all these wonderful people think of is ending war, then why do they all have the same socialist economic beliefs? Hmmmm....
