Ah, but the real money is in possible endorsements.

Who gives a shit?

theres only 6 grams of real gold in each medal

"Who gives a shit?"

Mostly the people that win them, since it puts them in a class unto their own.

That's the value of the Medal, not the metal, is what I meant.

Well, I give a shit. The article describes the value of medals since 1896. The most expensive medals, accounting for inflation, are the 1980 Winter Olympic Game medals. This is a fun way of studying how the evil and illegitimate Federal Reserved has destroyed our current and standard of living.

That's just in base metal costs. I'm sure these 2010 large, curved, and laser-etched monstrosities cost a lot more to create than the 1980 variety.

Actually just forget all that finance stuff from me.

I'm Canuckian, and we're all kinda in hard party mode these days and not thinking straight...

This is pretty wild... crazy people everywhere!

We'll be normal again in a week or so.

if they are smart, they will trade them for silver...

Nanc, I am sure they'll trade them in for steroids, the new kind that apparently can't be detected.
