Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs
Friday, February 19, 2010

CBN News has learned exclusively that five Muslim soldiers at Fort Jackson in South Carolina were arrested just before Christmas. It is unclear whether the men are still in custody. The five were part of the Arabic Translation program at the base.

Patrick Jones, the Deputy Public Affairs Officer for Fort Jackson, confirmed for CBN News Thursday afternoon that an investigation was ongoing.

Prior to this posting, CBN News learned that these details were also confirmed by a government official with knowledge of the investigation.

But it wasn't a terrorist act.

The religion of peace.

Funny thing - did the powers that be deem to believe they could keep this secret? For how long?

Eddie Slovik, RIP - you didn't have anything on these guys!

Anybody seen jackass today...

Right here. Too bad not dead yet. Only the good die young so I'll be at the retort for another 40-50 years.

That was from yesterday!

You will meet your match if you keep buying 30 dollar hookers, jackass.

CRAZY.

"CBN News has learned exclusively"

Stick to blaming Haiti's earthquake on pacts with the devil, Pat.

I left a link for another article, letus.

CBN is the Chrisian Broadcasting Network, bankrolled by Pat Robertson. Right?

Anything "exclusive" to CBN is probably an outright lie.

Yes it is. 700 Club and all.

Nanc,
That doesn't count. The post is reporting that CBN reported.

From you rlink: CBN News reported that the five arrested men were Islamic and cited a source who said they may have been in contact with five Washington, DC Muslims, who were arrested in December after authorities uncovered their plans to travel to Pakistan to wage jihad against the U.S.

CBN,

the only network with a bigger Anti-American agenda than Clusterfox.

These blatant moneygrubbering motherforkers discovered long ago that nothing fills the collection plate quite like hatemongering.

#15 - then we'll just have to wait it out, eh?

Nanc,
I will wait for a Fox, CNN, NBC type source to report without citing CBN personally.

#15,

Lisa/Nanc is a bit thick this morning. Next thing she's be quoting AFKABibble as a source.

#18 - okay.

BUT BUT BUT!!!! That was a Post quoting the FOX report quoting the CBN report quoting an unnamed source.

What could possibly be more credible?????

The army is saying they've made NO arrests in the case - you don't have to arrest in the military to have subjects IN CUSTODY. The two are not part and parcel until they are arrested - I should have put "in custody" in the title?

dont you mean lisa/nanc/redneckville/
joojiby/hagbard celine/doc sarvis?

I wonder if this 'unnamed source' quoted by CBN turns out to be a 'very reliable source in Denmark' who read about it on a blog?

Is it normal for these guys to travel in fives?:

GASP! Muslims? No way! Just like the Methodists framed Hassan they are now framing these practioners of the religion of peace. We have to deal harshly with with them and with the Jews who flew planes into the WTC! EVERYBODY wants to blame Muslims and i just can't understand why.

Maybe because many of them are actively trying to kill us, and many more are knowingly funding those who are trying to kill us... How has one religion become such a potentially lethal virus in these modern times?

Over the past 2000 years, "christians" have started more wars, killed more innocents, destroyed more cultures and been responsible for more pure unbridled hatred and destruction than all the other religions combined.

Hands down, the worst "religion" ever!!!

Please feel free to post some examples of Christians causing "more wars" because they believe the are commanded by God to do so. The Balkans was one example of Christians trying to exterminate Muslims, and arguably the Crusades several hundred years ago. You are parsing religions, not nations or politics, please give some examples. I'm assuming that since you are making such a bald face statement you actually have some facts to back that up. I doubt it, but I'm entitled to some assumptions to give you the benefit of the doubt.

Moderh8.... you are not that important that people are out to getcha. LOL

"Hi, I'm Moderh8 and I need to be in protective custody"

Drama Queen.

Yeah, I think you should, since they are two different things.

Member posted this story as well, with "arrested" in the headline.

And the NY Post also says "arrested", but CBN says "questioned".

Lol CBN? As in Pat Robertson's Center for Babbling Nutcases?

What a quality source...

I do have to say that Stakelbeck's writing is awful, though.

Most likely a moot point:
www.wltx.com

"The Army Criminal Investigation Division, the group in charge of the investigation, told WLTX that, "we have not found any credible evidence to substantiate the allegations."

"While the investigation continues there is currently no credible evidence to substantiate the allegations," the military said in a written statement. "At no time was there any danger to the Fort Jackson community."

The base also said that no one was poisoned."

Thanks, TheTom. I was just about to post that. CBN appears to be spreading a false story.

Keeping Islamics out of military positions would spoil diversity, the only "real" value.

Thanks for diversifying the sentient population with your presence, Duplo.

Islamics

That would be "Muslims", Churchee.

Tosser-
He intended to say "Muslims", who are of course all "Islamics" to him (whatever that means).

And you, of course....

And you, of course....

Yes, Boyd?

Me what, Boyd?

Islamics=peaceniks
