WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. Former New York City police Commissioner Bernard Kerik, who was hailed as a hero alongside former Mayor Rudy Giuliani after the Sept. 11 terror attacks and nearly became chief of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, was sentenced to four years behind bars Thursday for eight felonies.

Not enough time for 8 felonies. Shoulda been at least 4 yrs per.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Sounds about right.

It's a shame. He really had a stellar career until the 9/11 attack made his extracurricular activities obvious. He did the crime and must do time, but I admire his career very much as he went from the slums of Paterson to NYC Police Commissioner.

He may've gone from the slums to a postion of trust but Bernie Kerik never showed much class, ever.

this is the guy herr bush presented for secretary of homeland security

And the rethugs say the Dems nominees have tax problems!

God he's HOTT!!

I'd defend him!

Yes and Kerik lied to the vetters for that job as well.

And all the bad stuff came pouring out.

Yes--but they don't insist on keeping them in the cabinet like Obama with Thimmy the rat man ...

Maybe he will be a better person when this is over. Seriously bad choices and decisions by this guy.
