Health insurance scams are growing at an alarming rate across the U.S. Oklahoma resident Bob Harper, 63, bought what he thought was insurance from a group called the American Trade Association for less than $400 a month, but it failed to pay claims and had no permission to sell insurance in his state. "There could be thousands of people who have bought bogus health coverage and they don't even know it," said James Quiggle of the Coalition Against Insurance Fraud.
